All hotels were booked for grad weekend. We had no choice. The people are so nice, but the hotel needs a serious deep cleaning and renovation. Plus: the beds were comfy and the sheets/towels were clean and smelled nice. Oh the AC was great! Minus: the floors need a mop job, the coffee is for looks only, the bathroom reminded me of traveling back in the 70s. It did the job- we slept well, but we would not stay there again. Shame on all the hotels for jacking up prices exponentially for families on grad weekend. This hotel was at least affordable - but still $300 for 2 nights.

Our room was dirty! The sheets had stains, the tub had hair and dirt in it. The toilet seat was dirty. The wash cloths and towels had dirt stains on them. There was pieces of food in the floor.

The attendant at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. The room had NO towels (bath, hand, washcloths) in the room. There were splatters of something that looked like excrement on the bathroom walls. The faucet and handles looked disgusting, like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The 3 wall hangers were all crooked and looked like they were about to fall off the wall. The closet was gross and looked like what you’d see in a very old home that badly needed remodeling and cleaning. Difficult to tell if the bedding had been changed because it was very wrinkled and poorly tucked in. The chair was stained. The worst part was there was a clear bag of something completely disgusting in one of the drawers below the tv (looked like a mix of excrement and cigars and weed). Husband went to front desk and was able to get 3 bath towels and 3 washcloths but they were out of hand towels. Husband showered and recommended to my son and myself to not shower there.

When we arrived at the hotel, there was an intoxicated guest roaming the property. We had a small child with us so this made us immediately uncomfortable. However upon entering the room, it reeked. The room had not been cleaned, or even swept. The bathroom was covered in mold. The toilet had URINE inside when we entered. There was even finger nail clippings in the main 'living room area'. The towels reeked of smoke. The mini fridge had hair and other sticky remnants inside. We went out and bought our OWN cleaning supplies, as it was a holiday weekend and no other hotels had occupancy. We had no choice but to stay. When we got back to the hotel from purchasing said cleaning supplies, there were police on the premises with the intoxicated man i mentioned earlier. Our room was booked from Friday-Monday. We ended up checking out Sunday afternoon as we saw a roach. The continental breakfast was the only perk of this entire stay... i will not be a return or repeat guest, as I've tried to call to speak with the manager twice now to make them aware of the conditions.

i felt like i might possibly get a disease, there was blood stains in our room and i felt gross the whole time.

We were there for a soccer tournament my daughter lost fist games were eliminated. Went to hotel to check in. My girls were stocked about the pool which wasn’t working our room was not ready yet and didn’t want to wait so lady at desk was very helpful and allowed us to cancell thank you

Very cleaning

I have stayed at the Baymont from previous trips down to visit my son and always the service is excellent. And all previous rooms have been wonderful - comfortable, clean. My friends and I booked the suite this time so that each of us had our own bed. Unfortunately, one pillow case was dirty, there were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, there was what looked like a cigarette hole in one of the blankets. We got in very late and were leaving the next day so we made due but was very disappointed in the suite. Other rooms I have stayed at were very nice! And the customer service has always been great!
