The location was great, with easy access via I-94 and about 10 minutes from downtown Stillwater. The neighborhood was quiet and the view from the deck was lovely, looking down onto the St. Croix River and across to Hudson. There were some unfortunate negatives with communication with the property manager and with the cleanliness and safety of the house. A few days before our stay the property manager reached out to me about needing to spray for box elder bugs the afternoon we were arriving and asking if that would be okay with me. I sent a message back to her asking for clarification and also asking about the VRBO address. When I tried to get directions from the VRBO listing it said the address wasn't listed. I also tried calling the manager twice on the day we were arriving, but she never replied. She was there to meet us when we arrived, but seemed to hurry through her tour of the house. The kitchen, especially the refrigerator had not been well cleaned. The rugs in the bathrooms did not look laundered. There wasn't a handrail down the stairs to the lower level, which seems very unsafe, for families with children and for older adults.

Beautiful home with beautiful views of the river! It’s as spacious as the pictures show. Host was very accommodating when needing to do some date adjustments. PERFECT location to get friends and family together. Would recommend!

Such a gorgeous property. Amazing view from practically everywhere within the house, and especially from the deck overlooking the river. Very clean and well-maintained house. My family thoroughly enjoyed our time. Very close to both Hudson and Stillwater for shopping, restaurants, etc. Would definitely recommend this home!

This property was great for entertaining friends and family for our wedding week! Huge kitchen with a beautiful big counter top for serving. We spent a lot of our time on the deck at night time and it was so relaxing looking over the Hudson pier! My only gripe with this property was when we booked there was no explanation that the river could not be accessed despite photos of the river advertising the property. We would have booked with another property for less money if we had known we could not enjoy the water. The manager was very apologetic and acknowledged that it was their mistake for not mentioning that detail on VRBO. Since then, the listing has been updated indicating there is no river access. Overall beautiful property/house. LOVED our time here!
