Heater for one of the rooms not working.

We booked this house for three couples before departing on a cruise the next day. It worked out fine for that purpose. We had a mix up with several taxi services the morning we were departing for our cruise. The manager was very helpful in straightening it out with them.
The house was quite warm (it was August). Some areas could have been cleaner.

The location was superb. Close enough to downtown; van Duden gardens and restaurants. The kids also enjoyed playing on the trampoline.

Big house, lovely rooms and decoration, very well equipped kitchen, nice backyard and terrace, good communication with the owner.
The floor was pretty dirty, all of our socks were almost black from the bottom after walking for awhile. This can be avoided by using inside shoes though.

Loads of space the bedrooms are huge and the beds were super comfy and the kids loved the trampoline

The location
Everything else. The house was dirty - mould in the shower, cobwebs in one of the bedrooms, and the kitchen, the table was dirty, there was a rotten banana in the fridge, the drapes had holes in them. In addition the walkway to the door had loose stones that were a tripping hazard. Very disappointing- especially since we based our choice of accommodation on the 9+ ratings on booking.com

The location was terrific. So close to where we were lawn bowling, so many places to eat nearby. A quiet street in a very nice neighborhood.

Basement stairs very steep and slippery…need some sortof abrasive edging.
