Great property for our two families (with 7 under the age of 8); the listing and property is very well organized and the communication is excellent. The neighborhood has great amenities. We were a bit early in the season so couldn't take advantage of everything; the only item to be aware of is that the road outside of the house is faster than I would expect - no issue at all for older kids but need to keep an eye on the little ones. My family and I rented this property for my husband's bday. Due to the fact that none of the amenities shown in the listing were available, we were confined to the house. They was nothing to do besides board games which we could have did at home. This was just a pointless stay. On top of it all the lady at the community desk informed us that the owner should have gotten a notification that the pool was being repaired. The game room also wasn't available. Therefore these amenities should not be falsely listed. I can say the house was spotless and the owners were nice. Its just pointless staying when you can stay home and do nothing.

Nathan and Kara's home was absolutely amazing and made our stay such a relaxing and fun get-away!! We appreciated the overall cleanliness, intentional orderliness, updated styling throughout, thoughtful touches galore and smooth, comfortable, timely and friendly communication. This home offers an incredible space for large/extended families or groups. There is an upper level great room with large TV, fireplace, lots of seating in plain view of the kitchen and sliding glass door extending to the outdoor wood deck. The lush scenery is abundantly visible through the oversized open paned windows. A second TV room is located on the lower level that is highlighted with a wall of natural cedar siding. Really so beautiful!! There are also three wonderful bathrooms and a full sized stackable washer and dryer. The whole place is laid out so very thoughtfully, making your time away from home so easy and stress free. Multiple uses of natural wood abounds in their cathedral entrance foyer including creative wall art of thin log slices. You just have to see it to believe it! It's incredible!! All the personal touches extended to us by Nathan and Kara were so appreciated and made us feel so welcomed, especially their ribbon-tied Welcome gift of supplies to make our own smores at the back yard inviting firepit, highlighted with café lights strung around the trees. Everything within the home is labeled and identified so nicely and clearly including their generously equipped kitchen.

This property was such a pleasure to stay at. Everything was very easily accessible. Kitchens and bathrooms are spotless. Can’t wait to go back!

It was a wonderful home to stay in!! Cute and cozy!! Real close to the lakes and pool with other great amenities!!

We had 3 families stay for a week in July. There were 6 adults and 6 kids (2 sisters, 4 baseball boys). We were able to fit 3 pickup trucks, 2 boats, and 3 SUVs on the sides of the house and in the parking area. It was tight but were were happy they all fit. The property is a bit close to a road that vehicles travel faster than they should and there is not really any yard for kids to play but we spent most of our time at the lakes and pools so it wasn't too big a deal for us. Our evenings were spent around the campfire at the bottom of the deck steps. The check in process was super simple but the cleaner was a little behind schedule and we weren't able to get in the house until about 45 min after check-in. This made arrival a little chaotic but there was space at the rental office for us to wait. While we were there, we picked up our neighborhood parking passes which were ready but filled out for the wrong dates. I called the owners to see what we should do but it went to voice-mail. The next day the office fixed the parking passes and the owners sent a message through the app but no return call. Everything in the house was as expected and worked perfectly. There were only 8 amenity badges but when we checked in at the pool we only needed to write our house number, the number of people in the group and show the baggie of badges (they didn't check that there was 1 for each person). Overall, it was a great week and we would recommend this property to any group of families looking for an affordable rental in the WLE neighborhood.

House was probably one of the top houses I've ever rented the owner did everything top notch everything the information on everything in the house right down to the chocolate on the pillow when we got there

We booked the property during winter with couple of other friends. The plan was to just stay indoors and cook. This was an excellent place to do that. The house is very cozy. Everything everywhere was clearly labeled and marked. Host was easily accessible for any queries.

Nathan was an excellent host! Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay -- the home was thoroughly clean and the common areas were cozy and large enough to seat the whole group comfortably. Although we did not take advantage of all WLE had to offer (e.g., the lodge), the location was awesome. Highly recommend!

Great place for family getaway and all was as advertised. VRBO was very well equipped for all cooking we required. Very comfortable for a large group. Enjoyed hiking around the local lakes and telling stories by the fire. S'mores fixings and chocolates were a nice treat.

Close to the pools and lake, as well as Claws and Paws! Also, not a bad drive to Hamlin for the convenience.

The property was fantastic and was no less than 5 stars. We had 8 adults and 2 children and we all fit with no issues. The house was big enough that we didn't feel like we were on top of one another and there was plenty of space upstairs and downstairs for us to spread out. The house is about 5 minutes walking distance to the gated community that is incredibly kid friendly. The owners are very fast to respond and were a pleasure to work with during our stay. We had deer walking on the property every day which was very cool to see. They are used to people being around and sometimes came within 20 feet of us on the back deck. If you want a quiet getaway in the mountains near a lake, this is the place for you. I would recommend this rental to anyone and I plan on returning in the future!

Place was just as shown on pictures. The area was fantastic and the resort itself was so much fun. Had so much to offer. Would definitely come again!

We had a great time in the Poconos. We got to use the pool which was wonderful for the kids. It snowed the day before we got there, so it made it even more special . The house had little special things that made it stick out. S’mores for when we arrived. Chocolates on our beds, fun facts about the area all over. Convenient WiFi passwords al around. Beds were comfortable. The DEER that came up to us if we fed them was incredible ! Best part If you want a laid back vacation , this is it :)
