The host was a very pleasant and attentive fellow - our three year old really enjoyed talking to (at?) him and he was very accommodating.
The whole house was quite rundown - the furnishings were rather unique, and a lot of the host's personality shone through, but everything felt very tired, worn out, and well past its prime. There were also a lot of insects about, but that was part and parcel of the rural area and the time of year we were there.

I like that my stay was comfortable and the owner was really helpful and attentive to our needs. Overall a great experience and would definitely stay here again in the future.
No central heating so it can get really cold outside the guest room during winter.
