The room is small but well cleaned, A/C and the fan were both great. The bathroom was very small but had good hot water. Its great value for money the owner is friendly when you see him but he is only a phone call away.

It is not a homestay as advertised as the owner doesn't live/stay there. I had to let myself in key was left on the window so you don't get the personal touch like a genuine homestay, toilet paper and towels are not provided which is very poor. Communal areas are not that clean. It's positioned away from everything in not the best part of the town no lights so a torch would be a good idea. Puducherry town is a bus or tuk tuk ride away. It is not a bad place if you want to be away from the noise and crowds, it wasn't what i expected from the description or reviews maybe it's just me, but i have been travelling around India for the last couple of months and stayed mainly in homestays . I can see there would be lots of people who would like the tranquility. If on a budget it is fantastic if you want a homestay look elsewhere.

The Rooms are big and comfortable

The room has all we needed, and the property is located in a very silent and local neigbourhood. There is AC, WiFi, hot water and the host is very happy to provide what else we needed (kettle). The host is super helpful and made our stay just perfect! Highly recommended!

The host was too kind and friendly. He always made sure we were okay. He even offered us coffee in the morning. I might stay again only for the wonderful hospitality and service (ps: if the price is reduced)

The location is far from the centre. Considering the location and the amenities offered, cost for the room was way too much.

The stay was very pleasant and it didn't feel like we were an outsider staying there. It completely felt like home. We really liked staying here. Mani was very friendly and was always checking in with us for all the necessities in prior. He also helped us with places to visit in and around pondicherry as well. It's a real homestay. I would definitely prefer to revisit and stay whenever I'm going to Pondicherry. I just slightly missed having a tv which didn't seem to bother me at all, cause we were out all day and tired all night. Friendly owners, cute kittens, fresh greenery, blossomed flowers, rustic stairs etc. And at silent nights you hear soothing waves from the sea which is very calming on the terrace. Everything was perfect.

Everything was intact! Nothing bad. The only concern was that there were guys alternatively drinking opposite to the stay everyday which kept me alert at all times which again has nothing to do with the stay. Because the stay has 24/7 working cameras, gates and doors locked which helped me feel safe inside. Hope there is some action taken from all the residents across.

Mr. Mani Shankar, the proprietor is a man beyond words. His Hospitality is like rose touching . The person just touches your heart deep. The property is in a solitary place but give you a divine peace fulfilling your aim of travel.

I'm a solo traveller and I'm travelling solo for 4 years but I haven't come across a hostel worse like this. Mani the hostel owner was a very rude person. He commented on my lip stick, threaned that there are many cruel hostels in pondicherry than this. I felt so unsafe. Night at 10pm he came and literally asked when am I vacating and when i said i will only leave by 12 pm as said in bookings.com he started fighting. The area the hostel is in also unsafe. Also the hostel doesn't have any beach view as mentioned in website. I suffered a lot because of this owner and this hostel. So please don't choose for your own safety. He didn't give bedsheets, and didn't switch on AC till night
