Kind hosts who go over and beyond! Lovely and clean room. 100% recommend.
The location is a little outside the city centre but in between the city and the killing fields. We found it easy to explore Phnom Penh with Tuk-tuks and lifts from the host.

We came to stay with Panha and received by far the best hospitality I have ever received in my life. Panha is extremely generous and kind, the rooms are spacious and immaculate and the hostel is well located within Siem Reap

Le meilleur établissement que j’ai fais en Asie du Est ! Vous ne trouverez pas plus confortable, plus accueillant, plus souriant que ce staff. Il fait tellement chaud à Pnom Penh , que vous voulez juste vous installez sur leur canapé avec la Clim Juste incroyable! Panha et son amie m’ont tellement bien accueillie. Je me suis sentis en sécurité avec eux, en famille. Si je peux vous conseillez mangez chez eux en terme de qualité de produits et de produits vous ne trouverez pas mieux. J’y suis restés 8jouIls vous font des plats cambodgiens succulents. Ils vous font tous à la demande et c’est que des produits frais. Leur caramel latte et leur Green tea latte 😍
Pour mon dernier soir nous sommes sortis avec une autre française, ils nous ont fait découvrir la ville. On a mangeait ensemble avec panha son amie et sa fille. Mes meilleurs moments. Des gens très humains ! Des débats, discussions sans fins. Ce sont des personnes très interessantes, rigolotes, très serviables , très gentils qui feront tout pour que votre séjour se passe bien.
La chambre est confortable. La salle de bain est propre. La dame clean votre chambre tous les trois jours et elle clean comme à votre premier jour dans la chambre. Tellement propre. Elle range même vos vêtements. Il y a un laundry à prix imbattable. L’emplacement est top , il est situé sur une ruelle calme loin du bruit. Ils peuvent vous louer des scooters. Il y a même une piscine pour se rafraîchir à 2$. Panha à des réductions.
Rien. Je ne sortais même pas le soir. Je restais avec eux tellement que je me sentais bien. Ce sont des personnes humainement incroyables ! J’en ai beaucoup appris grâce à eux. Je ne peux que les remercier 🙏

Der Empfang war super herzlich! Wir haben Wasser, Früchte und selbstgemachten Reiswein serviert bekommen. Der Host ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und spricht sehr gutes Englisch. Unser Zimmer war geräumig, sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war lecker und preiswert. Alles in allem eine wunderbare Unterkunft mit einem tollen Host!

The owner was super nice and helpful, and the cafe is really nice. It is also very good value for money, and tuk tuks are cheap, so you can download Grab or another app to get around. Do get a local SIM though.
My room didn't have a window, so this is a real negative point for me. I wish I have looked at the photos more carefully before. It is also very far outside of the city centre.

Everything! Panha is the most incredible host. His home stay is impeccably clean. He has a lovely lobby that you can lounge in and the moment you sit down a drink and a snack is put in front of you. Neits food is delicious. Panha basically curated our trip for us and it was perfect. He was so accommodating and either drove us places or helped us sort out transit. We had the great fortune of starting our trip to Cambodia and Vietnam at Stay Sweet and it created the most special memories. He helped us discover so much delicious food of Cambodia. I even cooked in his kitchen with him! I honestly have not met a more generous, kind, curious and helpful host.
Truly nothing. Some people complain that it is a bit far from city centre but this was a bonus for us. It is cooler and quieter. And you feel like you are in a local neighbourhood. Do know the pool is at a separate recreation facility 5 min walk away.

De eigenaar en een vriendin van hem runnen Stay Sweet. Zei zijn super aardig en willen met alles helpen. Panha heeft ons zelfs naar de Killing fields gebracht met zijn auto en ons nadien ook weer opgehaald. We zijn ook nog gezellig met hem wezen winkelen bij Japanse 2e hands recycleshops waar we nog leuke dingen hebben gekocht.
We hebben één avond in zijn keuken Nederlands eten gekookt en met zijn allen opgegeten. Het eten viel niet helemaal in de smaak omdat zei gewend zijn aan gekruid eten. Dat is de Nederlandse keuken dus niet. Het was wel een erg gezellige avond.
Wij waren erg enthousiast over de Homestay. Panha serveert heerlijke koffie's en ook goed eten.
De locatie zit wat verder weg van het centrum, maar met de tuktuk goed te doen.

The location is in real phnom phen, you only need to walk a couple of blocks and you get totally immersed in Cambodian culture, zero western bars or restaurants. The place is the cleanest we have experience on our travels.
Banda (Banya) is the perfect host, he goes the extra mile to make your stay as great as possible.
I accidentally left my phone behind on the lest day, on the way to the bus station in a Remork, Banda raced us to the bus station and handed me my phone, this is the type of man he is, just great!!!

I booked this homestay based on the superb reviews from others and was as equally impressed as they had been. The location is in the suburbs about 20 mins by Tuk tuk (less than 3 dollars) from city centre. The neighbourhood is one of the more affluent ones and I really enjoyed walking the streets in the early morning watching the neighbourhood come to life. Panha and his friend are the most generous, kind and thoughtful people in the world and nothing is too much trouble for either. We enjoyed a cup of Yorkshire tea each morning and ate at the homestay several times. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious and great value for money. The room we stayed in was the one described in the photos. It was clean, tidy, comfortable and very quiet at nights. The host has a wealth of knowledge, speaks good English and has a good sense of humour. I really enjoyed talking with him in the evenings in the comfortable communal area. He was happy to share his knowledge and gave us several ideas for places to go. We also booked the Giant Ibis bus onwards to Siem Reap with him and he dropped us at the bus station. He also arranged a tour guide for us in Siem Reap who has proved to be equally friendly and knowledgeable. This is by far the best place homestay so far during our 3 months in SE Asia.

I would rate 11/10 if I could. Stay SWEET has felt like a home, with warm and generous hosts, great food and a very spacious, clean and modern room. Best stay in Cambodia so far- highly, highly recommended. Thank you so much Panha and sweet family.

La chambre est propre, grande et confortable. Panha est un hôte attentionné et très facile d'accès. Nous avons passé beaucoup de temps avec lui, à discuter de nos différentes cultures. Les plats proposés sont délicieux et bon marché. Toujours une attention, apéro, fruits, alcool de riz maison. On se sent comme à la maison !
Un peu excentré, comptez pas plus de 3-4$ en tuktuk pour faire le trajet mais évitez les heures de pointe !

Panha est un hôte d'une gentillesse et d'"une générosité remarquable. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans son petit homestay qu'il a su rendre chaleureux.
Il s'est constamment soucié du bon déroulé de notre séjour et de notre bien être. Les plats préparés par son amie et lui même étaient très bons, abordables et copieux.
Panha nous a même fait goûter son vin de riz fait maison !
Il s'est démené pour nous trouver la meilleure offre possible pour nous rendre au Vietnam sans rien demander en retour.
On recommande donc vivement aux voyageurs de passage de venir y passer au moins une nuit.

Panha is a wonderful host and a really friendly person. He picked me up from the airport in the middle of the night, recommended places to visit, booked a bus for me and even brought me to the bus station. Thanks a lot!

We were welcomed at the front door by owner with a big smile. The room we had was nice and big and made you feel you were right at home. Location was great, close to street restaurants and the khmer life style. Even though the city was quite a distance the tuk tuk ride only cost 3 dollars. I would recommend this place to all that travel to cambodia A++ for me.

The property is tucked away from the downtown which is really nice if you need to get away from the noise for a bit while still being in the city. The owners are really kind and welcoming, I showed up at 6:00am (well before check-in) from a bus ride and was just waiting quietly outside the building enjoying the sunshine, when he saw me outside he invited me into the lobby and gave me a complimentary plate of fresh fruit and water while I waited. The room was ready early and I was able to check in by 9 am, well ahead of the normal check-in time. I opted to have dinner there and the food was really good with decent portions, I even got to try some of the owners homemade rice wine which was delicious. The next day after check out I was just waiting in the lobby to head over to the airport and I was given more fruit, water and a small plate of mixed nuts. The owners could not have been more kind and welcoming. If you are in Phnom Penh and looking to get away from the noise and be close to the airport, this is the place to stay.

Die Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer hat von Anfang an perfekt funktioniert. Es wurde mir sogar ein Shuttle-Service angeboten. Täglich bekam ich zu meinem bestellten Kaffee noch Yasmin-Tee, kleine Snacks dazu. Ebenfalls wurden mir immer wieder auch Früchte serviert. Der Besitzer und die Angestellte sind sehr bemüht. Es wurden mir immer alle Wünsche erfüllt. Das Essen ist hervorragend. Das Zimmer ist sauber, die Klimaanlage funktioniert. Es wurde auch regelmäßig gerreinigt. Außergewöhnlich war es auch, dass wir selbst die Küche benutzen durften.
Am Ende war dann eine Abrechnung, die mir viel zu gering erschien, bei dem Service das ich erhalten habe.
Mein Aufenthalt wurde leider nach der Heimreise mit einer schweren Krankheit getrübt. Aber selbst da hat der Besitzer meine Frau noch unterstützt bei diversen Telefonaten.
Alles in Allem eine sehr preiswerte, freundliche Unterkunft. Man fühlt sich nicht nur als Gast, sondern als wertgeschätzter Freund.

Mr. Panha who was in charge that night and his friends,Crew were very nice and helpful,I had relaxing pre-flight evening,delicious food local self made wine by the family strong but extremely recommendable,(of course free of charge;-)) room was really quite as I wished and just to mention,Mr. Panha was so kind he offer me to drive me to the airport which help me alot,all in all I can recommend from my heart.he and his family are the best example of Khmer friendly people I am fortunate to meet him and wish all the best for his business. Everything. Especially the lovely, lovely family who own this homestay. Unbelievable friendly and helpful. They ungraded our room for free and tended to me when I fell ill. They showered us with treats such as fresh fruit and snacks and their coffee is amazing. All while being plastic free and environmentally friendly. Amazing.

We had a really nice time here. The hotel is superclean and comfortable. Panha and his friend are really nice and they helped us a lot with everything we needed. We also had breakfast and dinner the two days we were there and everything was delicious (we really enjoyed coconut smoothies 🤤). You may think it's far from the center but in Phnom Penh it's extremely difficult to walk even if you are in the center, so this location it's great because it's a quiet neighborhood and you can use grab to go everywhere you want. What else can I say? Well... If we go back to Phnom Penh, we will definitely go back to Stay Sweet! Thanks a million for everything ❤

From the first moment I felt so warm welcomed by Panha and his family. Even before I arrived Panha helped me out and answered to my questions I had about the city. I got some fruits and food, also he invited me to try his excellent homemade rice wine. The wifi in the room worked always very well. Once I’m going back to Phnom Penh i would definitely stay again at Panhas Homestay. Thank you so much

Panha the host welcomes like a friend. He is so respectful, polite, and helpful. This was my second stay here and it was a pleasure to be back. He and his friend make delicious food, both Khmer and Western. The fish amok was the best I had in all Cambodia.
There is a lovely swimming pool with steam rooms, thermal pools and a gym which I have used twice (Panha gets a discount) 100m from the house.
It is a little far from all the main tourist attractions but Panha can often offer a lift.

Small four-room homestay in the middle of very local neighbourhood. Area is safe, nobody bothers you, real authentic feel. Host Panha genuine, caring, helpful. Property is new, rooms big, bed firm, aircon, hot water-everything works, clean. Super tasty food available anytime cooked fresh.
Around 2.5$ by Grab tuk tuk anywhere of interest in PP, might take 30mins up to get there..Absolutely no issue with local Grab drivers at all, found them nice and helpful, compared to vultures at the airport or inner city area.
Highly recommend this place if you want friendly base to explore chaotic Phnom Penh and don't mind the location/ distance to the city centre. And Panha is a treasure, together with his hard working staff, amazing people. Thank you and see you next time.

Everything! Panha and his partner couldn’t have been more helpful. So welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast and food all good and very reasonably priced. It is only a few dollars to get into the centre of Phnom Penh and a lovely place to go back to at the end of the day. He even lent us a phone so we could use Passapp as we were struggling to sort Grab to start with. Would absolutely recommend you stay here. Our best place so far and good value for money too.

I never write reviews but I must make an exception for Stay Sweet. We properly enjoyed staying here, it was welcoming and cosy, and the hospitality was top tier.
