It was located close to our daughter's place and the mountain views were beautiful.

We spent 2 of the 5 day stay shoveling snow, there wasn't a snow shovel provided! There were 25 steep stone steps that we weren't told about; very slippery, no salt provided. The driveway was narrow and there wasn't any railing, the deep snow made it even worse cause you couldn't see the drop-off. We were told someone would clear the driveway and steps but no one showed up so we cleared it ourselves, the first time with a push broom! The second time we borrowed a shovel. Also we arrived late at night, no lights were left on so we could see climbing the steps so we ended up using our phone flashlight! When we woke the next morning, there was a coffee maker, but no coffee! If we were told this wasn't provided, we could have been better prepared and brought our own! Also there was no instruction booklet to explain what was expected of us for checkout, so we just did what we did from other places we stayed. The yellow faux leather couch was not comfortable and was cold to sit on. The bed was low to the floor and not comfortable. Thank goodness we had rented a four wheel drive Jeep, otherwise we couldn't get on or off the mountain. We were never instructed that snow chains are required. We've stayed in many vacation rentals and unfortunately this one fell short!
