We enjoyed our stay here. The cabin came with enough blankets, plenty of entertainment, and standard appliances. It was clean and well decorated. We plan on staying again.

We loved our stay over Thanksgiving! The property was cozy, clean and our kids loved playing the games in the loft! All around great stay!

We had the most wonderful time at the Stargazer Chalet. This cabin is truly everything you could want in a cabin stay. It’s charming. It’s cozy. It has a large front deck with a beautiful view. Our children loved the loft. It has a chest of toys, games, etc…and decorated with string lights. The kitchen had everything we needed. The record player was a unique touch. We really enjoyed listening to music with a log on the fire. Chris and Melanie are truly wonderful hosts. You can tell a lot of thought went into making this place not just a stay, but a joyful cozy mountain cabin experience for all. We didn’t want to leave, and we can’t wait to come back. Thank you Chris and Melanie for opening up your beautiful home. Awesome family memories made here. Hope to return again soon.

We had a wonderful stay at the Stargazer Chalet! Nicely decorated, cozy and welcoming cabin. Roomy loft, comfy beds in the bedrooms, and relaxing decks outside. Plenty of room for 4 - 5 people. Nice kitchen that has everything you need. We would definitely recommend the Stargazer Chalet and will book another stay in the future.

The home was warm and inviting. The property was clean with state of the art appliances. My husband, myself and 2 granddaughters had a wonderful experience. We felt right at home in the star gazer cabin. We were able to enjoy all that Big Bear Lake has to offer. I would highly recommend this beautiful home to stay in when ever visiting Big Bear.

Such a perfect property… the perfect getaway for us. Very quiet, comfortable beds, close to town and amenities yet up and away as well. Very clean, well kept up. Quaint and cozy, truly a cabin in the woods with great views, great in-house amenities and comfortable mountain cabin environment. So peaceful for our getaway. Never thought we’d love that record player as much as we did! Nice touch. Thank you to the owners!!

It was everything we had hoped for and more. The record player, music selection and Nintendo took me back to my childhood. The location is pretty great, right next to ski resort.

This property was awesome! Had plenty of room for families. The hot tub was amazing and being able to grill was so nice. The gorgeous view of the ski resort on one side and the stars at night on the other made for a relaxing weekend! We will be back!

We loved the location and vibe of the cabin. Fireplace was great and the record player and accompanying record collection was a nice touch and a big hit with adults and kiddos. We enjoyed the hot-tub, which was clutch after a long, fun day on the slopes. Thx for hosting us.

The house was super clean and very cozy. There was more than enough room for our family of 4. The beds were comfortable and all necessary amenities were provided. We spent a lot of time in the loft playing foosball and old school Super Nintendo and Sega games! The owners quickly responded to any questions we had. We hope to make it back to the Stargazer Chalet for our next trip to Big Bear!

We enjoyed our time at this quaint property in a prime location to the ski resort, the picturesque small town, and big Bear Lake. Chris was an excellent host and we highly recommend!

Wonderful experience for our family of four. The accommodations couldn’t have been more perfect! The location is near Bear Mountain Resort…so close you could see people coming down the mountain from the living room window but far enough away to enjoy the peacefulness of the mountains. The home was SO cozy, cute, and had everything we needed. I can’t say enough great things about this place! Definitely staying here again next trip!

We had such a great few days at this cabin. It was very well decorated, exactly like the pictures, and super clean. The large windows in the living room are to die for and overlook the ski slopes. We had such a great time cuddling up on the comfy couch with a fire looking out at the beautiful view. The fire place works great but is on the smaller side so if you plan to have a fire make sure the wood you bring is small or that you have a little axe to cut the pieces up. The heater works great in the entire house as well. Mattresses were a bit hard for my liking but who can complain when you can walk right outside the door and hop in the hot tub surrounded by snow. They also had the hot tub running and hot when we arrived which was so appreciated cause not all places do this and then you have to wait until day two to get in but no trouble at this place. We had an AWD and had no trouble navigating through the snow without chains but they are a bit higher up than the town and get more snow so if it snowed really hard before you arrive, make sure to bring the chains as back up or 4WD as they recommend. Great time had by all, we will be back!

It is a very nice, cozy and clean house ! I was relaxed and enjoyed a lot! Definitely 5 star!

The cabin was perfect, had everything we needed

Driveway was barely cleared. So narrow we could not get in. Could not even open doors to unload. Slipped and fell several times. We damaged our car pretty bad. Hired our own snow plow the following day to come help us ($40.00). All decks covered in snow several feet high. You couldn’t even sit outside or walk around safely. Photos make the place look way bigger than it really is. All the other places around us were cleared for easy parking and accessibility. Driveway is also steep. Overall takeaway not a safe place to stay.

The perfectly sized A-framed cabin was clean, up-to-date and beautifully furnished. After a long day skiing on the mountain it was a perfect and cozy place to come back to. We are definitely wanting to rent again for the winter and summer season. The hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with. 5 stars all around!

Our family of four loved the cabin. It had everything we needed. Kids loved the hot tub and loft. It was clean, cozy, and convenient to town. Owners were very responsive the entire time. We hope to make this an annual tradition.

This cabin is beautiful. The view is amazing. My family went for a Christmas vacation and enjoyed everything about it. The location is perfect. We had issues with the icy roads in the neighborhood but thankfully we came prepared with chains. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

This cabin was warm and comfy. I spent 3 days there and didn’t want to leave. It has everything I needed for a short getaway. I’m definitely coming back in the near future. Five Stars in my book

The house was amazing from the front entrance to the hot tub the big picture window was amazing you could look at it and see Bear Mountain the upstairs loft had a nice set up I would absolutely rent this cabin again I definitely recommend renting this cabin

Great location and cabin. Had a blast with the family. It was the perfect size for my family of four.

We knew the area was nice and so much to do in Big Bear, but the property was just perfect. Everything fresh, newly remodeled, very clean and views, views, views! We loved the evenings, looking at the lights and the ski resort. Truly spectacular. The pictures of the property are great, too, but still cannot do it justice. We’ll be coming back!
