We had a wonderful time. House accommodated our large group very well. Only improvement I would recommend is to add a little more paper towels and toilet paper. We came in late and would have been nice to have some on hand until we shopped. Location of home is excellent and communication great.

The home is truly ideal for a family gathering. We had 18 of us there and everyone was super comfortable. The kitchen is amazing with two dishwashers (!!) and fully stocked with all needed essentials (even a crock pot)! Only complaints: The pool/hot tub was unreliable to say the least. Either one or the other was inoperable/broken during our stay. Management was extremely helpful and sent out maintenance immediately with each call…but we felt awful having to make the request multiple times during our stay. If you go during colder months keep in mind that there is NOT a fire pit as advertised in the listing. And if you’re cold natured bring blankets from home. There are no blankets in the home and each bed has only a sheet and a very lightweight quilt.

This home was beautiful when it was built. But fast forward to today, the building is lacking much needed repairs and maintenance. Some of the amenities listed are not working properly. Pool and spa both have pump issues. Oven door will not close properly. Bathrooms doors do work properly. Alarm on sliding doors to the pool does not work. Safety issue for children. Property needs a detailed deep cleaning. We experienced water leaking through the second floor ceiling, plugged drain on 3rd floor shower, leaking sink on 3rd floor, some ceiling fans don't work, nothing labeled for ease of use, pool and spa were filthy, bedroom doors have key locks with no keys, lack of lp for grille and fire pit, clothes washer had what looked like black mold, and more. Great party house if none of these matter to you.

While the property is gorgeous and it’s hard to not have a good time here; I was very disappointed in the features and the accuracy of the posting. Everything outside was rusted. Foosball table, pool table, fire pit - all corroded and not functional. With the size group we had and going in October, we were counting on these outdoor additional features that we couldn’t even use. When speaking with the property management company, the only response I’d receive was that “maintenance would be called”. After several reach outs, a kid finally showed and when looking at the broken fire pit (probably worth $150) said he doubted they’d replace it. Sure enough, on day 3 I was told the “owner of the property will not replace, as the salt air will just rust the new one”. I responded saying that is standard maintenance and cost of doing business, as well as overall false advertising. I sent multiple pictures of the corroded outdoor features as well as a picture of a huge hole in the middle floor bathroom and still no response. The only offering to make things right from Pritchett Properties was that I could have my group check out 2 days early and not be charged for those nights. With flights, taking time off work etc - that was not an option. I feel that very misled and honestly would have been okay had they tried to make it right, but they didn’t provide any such resolution. I’ll take our annual trip back to Harris rentals.

Beautiful home with so much room!… the beach was truly breathtaking. We have been going as a group for 10 years to Gulf Shores and watched our kids grow-up on this beach…. Thank you for such an amazing house and sharing it with us!

The Blue Diamond was worth the money. Plenty of space, plenty of beach and a hot tub with a swimming pool (large hot tub that has jets for swimming). All of our guests had there own room and bathrooms. Prickett Properties is east to deal with, they respond quickly. Absolutely no hassle. Will stay with them again.

The Blue Diamond house is very spacious. Our party of 11 loved that everyone was able to have their own bedroom. And the bathrooms were well placed for those in our group who shared a bath. We loved that each floor had its own AC controls. The location of the house was also a pro for us. Close enough(15-20 minute drive) to grocery stores & restaurants, but not right in the middle of the busiest areas. We did encounter some maintenance and housekeeping issues. The property management did address the issues to our satisfaction. There were also some amenities in the listing that we found to be lacking in functionality. But again, we received a satisfactory response from the property management regarding the issues we reported. They were very responsive. We would say that if certain amenities are important to you, you may want to inquire before booking as to their functionality. Overall, we enjoyed our stay once the issues that could be cleared up were resolved.
