Apartment is exactly as pictured and the host kept in touch with us throughout our stay. Offering suggestions of tours, where to go for a chill vibe and food.

Nothing this everything was perfect.

El art-part-ment como llaman al alojamiento es un espacio muy muy amplio, a pesar que ibamos en pareja puede fácilmente ser usado por 4-5 personas sin problema. La decoración es muy original, nos gustó mucho. Y las instalaciones, la alberca, la cocina (en nuestro caso compartida) y demás facilidades, de muy buena calidad y funcionales.

No está a orilla de Laguna, pero no diría que es un problema porque esta a una calle de la laguna, tiene un Roof muy lindo y con vistas espectaculares. En el apartameto que nos tocó, el balo estaba fuera de la habitación. Muy muy cerca, a 5 pasos, tienes que salir del cuarto para ir al baño, lo que podría ser un inconveniente de noche.

Lovely view, close to the lagoon. Nice pool. Reasonably quiet

Could be more comfortable if there is aircon for the entire apartment. Water should be checked and filled prior to guests checking in. Toilet/shower water was empty before bed on our first day and didn't get refilled until the following morning. Hosts didn't respond to message or call about the issue despite it occuring before 10pm

The room was large

We stayed in the "art room" (which other than the whale mural could hardly be called art). Note that bathroom is not inside but an 8m walk outside of the room (which is not very nice due to the mosquitos and heat). The apt has 2 doors but both have finicky locks that take 5min to (un)lock. The beds were uncomfortable and oddly positioned. A lot of (empty) space but no surfaces (like a table) to put your stuff on. The pool was opaque/murky when we were there so we did not dare to swim. Little privacy with the owners kids walking around in front of the apt windows.

The couple owning the place very nice and helpful. Access to the lagoon by feet. Very clean and new facilities

Mosquitos...but what can we do? Apartment ishuge but is only one room for all. And kitchen+bathroom via outside

The garden apt was comfortable and well equipped, including the shared outdoor kitchen. There were nice common areas to sit, by the pool and on the rooftop terrace. The owners and family were very welcoming and friendly. We would highly recommend this spot in Bacalar !

There was nothing to dislike about the property.

The apartment was spacious and airy, kitchen was well equipped and there was a lovely roof terrace and pool area.
