Location was great, had a little balcony with a lovely view of the bay. Breakfast was fantastic, appreciated the option to have smoked salmon rather than just the usual English, although this was also available and looked delicious. There were lots of little extra personal touches which made the stay feel very special.
Nothing really, it was virtually perfect! Tiny issue was that it was difficult to see what I was doing in the little area where tea & coffee was placed. Would be good to have a light there. But, definitely didn't stop us enjoying our stay.

The welcome we received was amazing and the owners were very friendly.
The breakfast was amazing, so big that the 2nd day we went for the omelette instead.
Would recommend this hotel again and stay again.
Was looking forward to the Bistro being open but it was closed. It would also be a good idea to open the bistro as a bar for residents over the weekends.

From the second we arrived the host was really helpful and friendly.
The hotel and room looked great and surpassed our expectations.
The breakfast was lovely.
It looked to be the most modern on the street and a great location to either walk locally or drive further out to Whitby.
We didn't have anything we didnt like.

Le lit était en fin de vie, pas de tout confortable, aucun fermeté.On entendait temps en temps les ressorts se mettre en place! Le lavabo dans le salle de bain était minuscule. La télévision était à 90 dégrées par rapport du lit, donc il fallait se tordre!

This is a large property with big rooms.

Felt like she would've done anything to make your stay a good one.
I have gluten and lactose free diet (not by choice!). Michelle and Neil made sure I had gf/lf breakfast.
Really sad about the Bistro being closed as this was part of the reason we booked this property.
