Sirlene is a wonderful host and makes you feel directly at home in her home. In that sense it's not a typical hostel, but it's a great way to meet travelers and locals alike.

A great location, right on the beach at Frances, the atmosphere at Ave Rara was one of a loving family home..
It sits where the calm swimming waters end and the expanse of surfing breakers begins- being the only hostel in town, it’s popular with the surfing community. I’m my experience, they’re a lovely bunch! The hostel is basically a nice family house. Facilities are better than adequate, and the mood is relaxed yet inclusive..
One or two leaks in the roof need fixing!!

Two steps and you are at the beach. Great terrace with hammocks and wonderful view. Nice kitchen and breakfast. Cool and helpful owners. Top! I would go there again!
