We loved Flic en Flaq. The Villa is in a great location. Marie Michelle the maid and Clivy the manager, were both super helpful. We have only given it three stars, as it's badly in need of refurbishment. The Villa is looking tired and far from modern. £100k investment needed to bring up to international standard. Lots not working properly; sliding doors, lights, water leaks, electric roller blinds in main living area not working. Marie Michelle got them working, then following day stopped again. Electrics not great, there's no electrical regulation in Mauritius. Gekos everywhere, which are fine, they just made us jump! One baby scorpion in the bedroom was a bit unnerving. Kitchen has just the necessary equipment. For a Villa of this size, it needs many more accessories. The kitchen could do with a washing up bowl, a wooden spoon, new pans and an apron, for example. Beautiful, well maintained swimming pool. The patio and pool surround could benefit from being tiled. The concrete flooring is gritty. Overall, it is a lovely place to stay.

Stayed here for 2 weeks, great location for Flic en Flac. Restaurants in walking distance, taxi nearby at Pearl beach hotel or buses to Port Louis, Quatre borne Well worth a stay

Fantastic 3-bed property. Rooms are huge and comfortable. The pool and garden just perfect. Location (Wolmar) is at the end of Flic en Flac with local shops, fab street food and restaurants nearby. Marie Michele cooked us fantastic local cuisine as required. Great steak at Rib n Beef, fab street food at red shack closest to the house, and amazing roti at Farata AKA Vindoda (queues can be long but it moves quickly). Must eat at Creole Shack where lovely chef prepares a menu of the day - and you help yourself to drinks from the fridge. Thanks for a wonderful stay. It was perfect!

We had a great 2 week stay at Villa Wolmar in August 2022. A very quiet corner of Flic en Flac at the very edge of the Wolmar estate. 3 spacious bedrooms (the master suite and bathroom are huge), great outdoor lounge and dining area (covered with the pool central to the garden. Exactly as per the description. Marie Michel (housekeeper) came daily and we chose to use her mainly for cooking which was great. She would propose the following days dishes, take money for groceries and then prepare food for the following day which really took one headache out of a 'self catering' holiday. Very close to Flic-en-flac beach (5 mins walk) or a 5 minute drive into the centre area of Flic-en-Flac where there are a few restaurants and shops and a nice busy beach. We had a care so spent our two weeks exploring all over the island and Villa Wolmar was the perfect base.

It was a really nice vacation and we‘d love to come back!

The house and garden were well laid out and well kept. It was perfect for us: 4 adults and 2 children. All of us enjoyed the swimming pool that was right outside our doors. Marie-Michelle came daily and cooked great food for us and kept everything tidy. A convenience store was 30 meters away and it was 200 meters to the most wonderful beach with great snorkeling. If you want to explore the island and do more serious shopping, a car is the best.

The house is lovely and functions as shown and described. Clivey show you the house on arrival and help to arrange airport pick-up and return transportation. Marie Michell makes the house clean and cooks deliciously. Expect to rent a car there are many things to see on the island. We would like to come back.

It was realy super beautiful and relaxing holiday at villa! Calm, peaceful and beautiful!
