Nice location and clean.

Fantastic location if you are wanting to stay on the water in South Lake Tahoe. The home was larger than expected - we enjoyed the very open living/kitchen/dining area. The kitchen was also well stocked. We felt very comfortable and we enjoyed a great family time together.

The house was very clean and spacious, the fact that has everything what you need to enjoy your vacations feeling like home it’s amazing. 100% recommended Thank you John

John’s lake house is in a beautiful location on Tahoe Lake. Plenty of space and beds for a large group. He’s conveniently filled the house with all the basic living amenities for his guests to use. Would love to stay again next time I’m in Tahoe!

We rented this place for a quick trip in Feb during Ski week for a pretty decent price. The house was very clean, recently remodeled, had plenty of space for a big group, and lots of board games to keep the little ones busy. It also had a great kitchen filled with everything you need to cook/stay in-doors, which was what we had to do since we were caught in a huge snow storm during our stay. Everyone in our party had fun and enjoyed the house, although we didn't get to use the BBQ grill or hang out in the backyard since we were snowed in. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 was because we weren't able to use the garage to park our cars when we needed it most. We had to go buy a snow shovel to dig out the driveway and remove snow from our cars every morning in order to drive anywhere. Also, we weren't sure where the trash or recycling should go since the bins are usually located in the garage. All in all, it was a great trip and I would book this place again but maybe during the summer time.

Great place for an extended family vacation! We came up for Presidents Day weekend, which is a very busy weekend in SLT but it’s so nice and quiet in Tahoe Keys that we didn’t notice the crowds. Great view out the back and a very large side yard for making snowmen with the kids. The house is fully stocked, well beyond your usual rental. They have coffee and tea, general spices, and plenty of dishes. Lots of counter space for meals and room for the whole group to sit together and watch a movie at night. Lots of great board games as well - the kids happily played board games whenever we were inside. The one downside was the bed space - there is a queen sleeper sofa but there weren’t any sheets for it. Not a huge deal since we had a couple extra blankets and pillows but I wouldn’t rely on that as a “bed” - bring sleeping bags if you do. No check out instructions so we just picked up the place and washed dishes but left the trash and recycling? It’s not clear where trash goes in Tahoe Keys so hopefully that’s all we had to do. :)
