The house was very clean, quiet and beautiful! We were visiting Coconut Grove for the first time and the location of the Stirrup House was perfect for our needs - close to some wonderful restaurants that we were able to walk to. Although parking was in a separate building nearby, we were greeted by a very helpful young man who walked us directly to our lodging and made sure that we had everything we needed. The company that manages the property could not have been more friendly and helpful.

There was very little that we didn't like, but we do have a couple of suggestions. We stayed in Room 4, which is lovely, but there is a step-down to get into the bathroom that is not very obvious and one could easily fall if not aware of it (it happened to me). This should be marked somehow. The same is true for the bottom step on the stairs from the 2nd floor to the ground floor. It is a longer step than the others and a twisted ankle could occur if one is not aware of that. Some simple signage would take care of these problems.
