Loved the home, overall happy with space!

Super spacious, stunning location, and provided the exact sleeping arrangements we needed for our family gathering. However, a LOT of things in this house have not been maintained. In the kitchen alone, more than half of the appliances either didn't work properly or didn't work AT ALL. My husband and I planned to spend a lot of the weekend cooking for our family, and we were pretty upset by the changes we had to make to menus we had planned for weeks. It's honestly a lie to describe this as a "gourmet kitchen, with gleaming Viking appliances." On top of that, the kitchen needs a much larger, more complete, and better quality set of dishware and cookware. The strange mish-mash of plates and bowls of all shapes, sizes, colors, and materials was not suitable for our needs. What's more, the flies and fruit flies were a BIG problem. Especially along a river, we know bugs can be somewhat unavoidable. However, one of the first things we saw when we walked into the kitchen was a fly ribbon, completely covered in flies, hanging right among the pots and pans. We also had to change out fly traps that clearly had not been changed during cleaning. This house really does have the potential to be spectacular. It's too bad that right now it's not. PS: Unless it's there and we somehow missed it, PLEASE get a recycling bin for outside. PPS: Figure out with the neighbor what the deal is for the beach. You boast about it on your listing, but they clearly think they own it.

Hard to ahold of property manager for a simple request/question/problem, it seems like the online service ppl hv no idea about the property- not having straight answers

We loved our stay at this home. Every couple/family had their own bedroom, most en-suite. The access to the river was great and so was the upstairs game room area. We plan to stay here again for summers to come!

We spent our annual summer vacation with 13 family members at this beautiful home, and we felt comfortable gathered together to eat in the great room, and had enough room to spread out in the house and on the large deck! The house was clean with lovely decor and all the windows provided a great view of the mighty Columbia River, mountain side, and birds. An osprey flew by with a fish! Vacasa was very responsive when a freezer drawer wouldn't close and when we asked for the hottub to be checked. It would be great if curtains were added to the windows in the study/bedroom above the living room, and in the East-facing windows in the Rec Room. We had a great time, gaming on the dining table and gaming table, watched DVDs, waded in the river, drove to Chelan, rented a boat for a few hours on Lake Chelan, enjoyed pie and ice cream at Lone Pine and went for a nature walk near the bridge. Loved coming into the air-onditioned house on the extra hot days!
