The place is wondeful and the garden a slice of paradise. Nando the manager was great he suggested to have dinner at Reggae bar which we loved.

Since we were having breakfast and dinner at home it would be useful to have a proper coffee maker or cafetiere. The aircon is very noisy so we didn't keep it on at night. To be honest it was not unbearably hot.

The house is an oasis in a tropical garden fully equipped and 5 minutes drive from the Coahuila center and the beaches. Rochelle welcomed us amazingly and was of great help and a source of good advice. She was very attentive to any request. We made contacts with the nice neighbors in no time including the neighborhood sloth and the passing by agoutis. The WiFi provider has been replaced after previous complaints and now it works perfectly.

The house is hidden and hard to find following google maps . It is also unmarked. It is yellow though and the neighbors are helpful 😀

Absolutely amazing garden! We saw there more animals than in the Cahuita National Park. We saw lots of adorable aguti - they were passing through the garden all the time - many birds, butterflies, small geckos and even one sloth, iguana and a monkey!@no Oasis of peace. Lovely porch for the morning coffee among the flowers and animals. Big fridge, functional stoven and the oven, lots of space indoors. Decent internet. Our host Rochelle was very helpful and nice, she offered us a ride to and from the bus station. Muchas gracias!!!

The place is not 500meters from the beach like Booking claims. Maybe it is in a straight line, but to actually get to the beach we had to go back a bit to the main road and then continue to the beach, which was about 20minutes walk.

The casita has a big garden in which we spotted lots of wildlife, howler monkeys, agoutis, toucans, colorful frogs, etc. You can walk to Playa Negra in 15 minutes, but the town is a bit further away. A great stay if you have a car. The terrace is nice to sit and watch the garden and animals.

The interior is very basic. The WiFi is abhorrent, do not expect to be able to do anything more than sending some texts.
