Great location, we walked to Barefoot Landing twice. Pools and tiki bar were nice. Room was decorated cute. Will stay there again.

Very nice place that accommodated us well for our 1 night stay. However, the cleaning people were still in the room when we entered at 4pm. They didn't finish until 430. If I'm paying that much money for one night, and the check-in/check-out policies are so stringent, I assume the room should be ready by the time I am allowed to check-in. There needs to be a little give on either end of the stay. We arrived there an hour early and I asked if the room was ready around 315 only to be told the room will be ready at 4.... It was not. Just frustrating that there's no leniency.

Conflicted on how to review this condo. On one hand the good, easy check-in process, beautiful view of beach, clean well kept. Seams to have had renovations in the past few years. Great location. On the other hand the bad, A/C was not working! Was reported within 24 hours of arrival. Pics were sent of frozen unit. Had us attempt different things, including turning unit off for next 24 hours. Had a/c tech come look at it, said nothing could be checked till it defrosted. Eventually started to defrost and chunks falling on rug in bedroom where unit is located. We cleaned up the ice chunks, the water & the rotted filter that fell out with it. Pics and info sent to owner immediately. They responded with sending a/c tech back next day to look at it. After hearing nothing for another 24 hours , I had to contact owner again to ask when it was going to be fixed now that we have been without a/c for 3 days. Eventually was told it would be fixed a few days after we would have checked out! Asked how that helped us being there without a/c since day 1…..they offered to bring a fan!!! I have numerous texts, pics & emails of this communication with the company owning this unit in case they say that’s not what happened. I asked on numerous times what would do to make this right by us, the paying customer, wasn’t looking for a complete refund or a free future week rental. Just something, anything! They never offered anything but a fan again! They never even acknowledged or thanked us for cleaning up the mess and preventing damage to the unit until I pointed it out that they didn’t! Never a call from their office, never a call from the owner to personal apologies and offer something other than a fan. So this is where we say renters beware! It’s a beautiful condo at a great resort and as long as something doesn’t go wrong…such as an a/c unit! If it was something small like an outlet not working or a slow draining tub, I would even mention it. But this was an A/C unit in South Carolina! Kind of a major thing!

Location location location. Cute condo. Very nice and cleaned. Check in was good. Cleaning was still in progress at 4pm however we understand. Heated pool for kids to enjoy during cooler months. We look forward to the next stay at same location.

The unit was very pleasant to stay in and conveniently on a low floor. With small children, this is a bonus. We were still in pre-season and the building was being updated so not everything was available. We were able to find a heated pool to play in and the weather cooperated enough to spend time on the beach. Good time overall.
