The worst aspect was the checkin process. I had an early flight to Panama City. I took an Uber to the condo. When I arrived, I requested a place to store the luggage so I could explore the area. I was told No they could not accommodate my request but I could pay $65 for early check in at 1:00. I asked if the room was ready and was told it was clean but not inspected. I was told I would receive a text when I could go to the room. I sat with my luggage outside the condo waiting. I checked back after 1:00 and was told it still had not been inspected yet and there was nothing they could do to expedite the process. By then I was very upset and could not understand why they would not try to help. I do not think it would have cost anything to allow me store my luggage in a closet in the condo. I told them the customer service was nonexistent. The reply was I am sorry the result wasn’t what you would have liked. This just made me angrier. Good customer service is meeting the customer’s expectations not telling them they wanted too much! At 4:20, I still had not received a text. I called and was told I could have accessed the condo at 4:00. She said I already had the code. I told her I did not have a key code. She said Oh, we have been experiencing problems with the automatic texts with key codes. The entire process and lack of service was ridiculous and I would never book a condo managed by Benchmark.The room was not dirty but not very clean—sand on floor,mold on shower curtain, etc.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were not pleased at all and was ready to leave the same night we arrived. When getting to the location the door was open to the condo, my husband goes in to check the condo had an unclean smell. The refrigerator was not clean. There were bugs. The shower curtain in the main bathroom had mold on it. I’m not a person to complain, but I was very unhappy. After reaching out to Benchmark Management, they were apologetic but it still didn’t makeup that the condo itself wasn’t in good condition.

To start off, check in process was a joke. We called 3 times to see if our room was ready and they were rude the first two times, the third person said they would call us back and never did. Finally I said screw it, it was 2 hours after check in, I just walked into our room. The room was very clean, minus the sand on the floor, which is expected being on the beach. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable. Only thing I would say needs changed is a new bedspread & sheets. Bedspread was all stained and the sheets kept falling off the bed. The view is beautiful. You also have to wait on the elevators, but again, it’s expected. We would stay here again if we came back to PCB.

There were some problems with getting in that left me sitting outside the door for about an hour at midnight at checkin. The condo was very nice and clean. It had everything I needed.
