This was our first VRBO stay and we couldn't have asked for a nicer place. Very clean, comfortable bed, quiet, all the cooking utensils we needed so we could make some meals there, and Jamie was very quick to respond to any questions we had. It was very cozy and homey and so nicely decorated. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay.

We had an event at the Civic Center and this was the perfect location! The property was extremely clean and decorated beautifully. We would definitely stay there again!

Everything u need from Pan to even ziplock bags they have. It feels like home. Jamie answer right away if u have any questions. Thank u and definitely will be coming back.

We had a fantastic holiday get away in a safe, clean, comfortable and well organized/maintained environment!! The addition of the Christmas tree made us feel at home!! The host was always prompt, kind and professional during our interactions! This a must select vacation rental!! An absolute must select!!

This home was outstanding… It exceeded our expectations… the cleanliness was unremarkable!!! I will definitely stay here again… the owner even had a Christmas tree which was a great surprise!!! Over all one of the best VRBO’s we have stayed at so far!! Thank you..

Can’t say enough good things about this property. We were in Lake Charles for a family wedding and it was the perfect place for us. The owners have thought of everything you could possible need. Lovely design and decor (Christmas tree was beautiful too), spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Will stay here next trip to Lake Charles and highly recommend it all.

The decor, furniture and location were awesome. Close to the lake, great restaurants and I-10 - we were very comfortable and it was great to have 3 rooms both our kids got their own room and privacy. We were very comfortable and the home was well stocked with everything we needed - so helpful!

Jamie's place was very clean and she was incredibly responsive in a short amount of time. We had an issue with another stay (for work) and had to find something quick. We really lucked out with Jamie's place and absolutely will be staying again our next time in town. Highly recommend inside was amazing, nice neighborhood with a quick drive (or walk) to local eats and treats.

This home is the perfect location for a weekend or exteded get away and within walking distance to some restaurants and shops. The home was very clean and comfortable with plenty of amenities for our group of six. The neighborhood felt safe and within a short walking distance to Millennuim Park, which is nicely ligthted for an evening stroll. We even met some of the neighbors who were super friendly. We will definitely book this home once again when we return to Lake Charles.

I usually look for places with kitchens to cook some meals when away from home. Most of the time, I am disappointed with not having enough pans, silverware, etc. The host thought of everything! My son asked if I packed qtips, and sadly I did not. Then we found them in the bathroom! Every host should stock the house the way this host does! The house was clean, a nice quiet area downtown. It was just a wonderful time.

The property was awesome. It was clean and very nicely decorated. The kitchen was stocked with anything needed to prepare a meal or to have morning coffee (kuric and k cups provided). The beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms had an adequate supply of towels, soap and shampoo. We could not have asked for better accommodations. We will definitely be requesting another stay when returning to Lake Charles

We couldn’t have been more relieved (via my brother-in-law’s searching efforts) to find Olive Bayou! Selecting Lake Charles as a last minute add-on to our vacation was topped off perfectly with this beautiful and comfortable vrbo choice! After frustrations of not finding a hotel room, and not knowing a location and area to settle on, our weekend stay was a Huge positive with this choice! Would highly recommend and definitely stay here again! Thank you for sharing Olive Bayou!

Olive Bayou was beautifully decorated and everything we needed for a 2 night stay. Comfortable, well appointed living and kitchen space!

I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this place. The home was very clean and well organized. The owner thought about everything: from beautiful decorated rooms, high chair, a pack-n-play, soaps and other hygiene products, dishes, utensils, and family games. A very nice car port and front porch with seating arrangement. So many more things, the list goes on and on. You literally just have to arrive with your own food. Everything else is provided. This place is amazing and the owner responds to your questions in a very timely manner. We truly enjoyed our stay and don’t regret one single thing.

This property is wonderful! It is exactly as seen on the website. Very quiet area just off Ryan Street in Lake Charles. Within walking distance ti downtown and lake, 10 minute walk to downtown. The 3 bedrooms are upstairs, I do not believe that is stated in the description of the property. That did not affect us at all, just think it should be mentioned. The beds are very comfortable. There is also only a TV in the master upstairs. We all would highly recommend this property.

It is a beautiful home - just like the pictures portray in a cute neighborhood in a convienent location. There were a few hiccups but the host was great to work with resolving the issues. Would not hesitate to stay there again in the future.
