I really like to stay at this hotel. Parking is in the hotel grounds and the hotel is very quiet. A great breakfast is provided including scrambled eggs. Only a 20 minute pleasant walk into the centre.
The WiFi is dodgy and unreliable. You think you’re online but in fact find out later or the following morning you’re not. Having a kettle and coffee and tea making facilities is wonderful however in my room there was only one tiny packet of milk powder to be shared between two people and potentially 4 - 6 small cups of tea or coffee.

Perfect for travelers with a car with a location away from center of town but nice setting and parking. Comfortable rooms with large windows and bathrooms, and an elevator.

Friendly, efficient host, nice quiet room, comfortable bed, lovely big fluffy bath towels; pleasant breakfast room and very good breakfast with decent coffee and a variety of hot and cold breakfast options, including excellent fresh croissants and chocolatines.
Poor supply and selection of drinks in room; a few spills of instant coffee, only 3 teabags (none Earl Grey) and one spill of dried milk, and one small bottle of mineral water for two people, not replaced (because not empty?) for the second night. Stingy and inappropriate at this level of hospitality. Also didn’t like the fixed squeezy supply of universal washing liquid rather than shampoo, soap, shower gel etc in room. Again, inappropriate at this level of hospitality, and stingy. Finally, it took half-an-hour to walk from the hotel into the main Amboise shopping and restaurants area of the mediaeval town. We should have spotted this prior to booking. But the hotel IS well-places as a base for exploring the region by car, and convenient for the magnificent Chateau de Clis Luce.

very good location easy walk to the old town. Clean and comfortable rooms, the staff were very helpful and English was spoken. The breakfast was very good and plentiful.

Nice room, easy parking with no fee. Nice terrace.
The location was a bit far on the outskirts of town, therefore a good mile walk was necessary to visit the historic area.

Over two stays in a fortnight the hotel had neither the Chinon red wine or the Bourgeuil wine available. These are the best red wines you stock!!!

super clean and spacious. The ensuite was as big as some hotel rooms. Staff were very helpful. Parking just behind the hotel and free. Plenty of large sized towels. Lots of sockets. Good choice at breakfast with a variety of teas. Kettle in the room with a selection of teas and coffee. Enough space to organise all your things. In all a very comfortable stay.
It was a 10 - 15 minute walk to the centre. On the way back a long gradual hill.
