Empfang schlecht, die Damen waren überhaupt nicht hilfreich und noch weniger kompetent. Informationen über Fähren, eine Umgebungskarte, organisieren eines Fahrers für einen Ausflug … alles war den Angestellten offensichtlich zu viel?! Wahrscheinlich ist das Hotel nicht ausgelegt für europäische Touristen. Die Zimmer sind klein. Die Fenster gehen nicht zu und es ist sehr laut. Die Straße ist schwer befahren, den Billiardsaloon von gegenüber hört man die ganze Nacht. Die Klimaanlage ist extrem laut, außerdem knallen die ganze Nacht die Türen. Unsere Zimmer wurde auf mehrfach Nachfrage nicht gereinigt. Die Kommunikation innerhalb des Hotels scheint mangelhaft zu sein. Der Pool ist schön , teilweise sind die Bodenpanelen reparaturbedürftig. Stolperfalle. Beim Frühstück gibt es gerade einmal ein Gericht für Vegetarier . Obwohl das in einer email vorab abgefragt worden ist . Leider geht man mit Extrawünschen nicht flexible um. Schon ein Spiegel zuzubereiten scheint Umstände zu machen. Man wird hier nicht als Gast behandelt, alles ist umständlich. Als Gast muss man ins Das Konzept des Hotels passen und nicht andersherum. Schade .

Huge room, excellent restaurant, friendly and helpful staff

Beds were too soft, using the tablet to order room service was very difficult to navigate. Floors in the shower were very slippery. Poles from the bed blocked the view of the TV. No light switches near the bed.

Free shuttle service from the airport and welcome drinks upon check-in. Staff were super friendly and attended to all our needs. Amenities were great, with the communal pantry and iPad for room service. Great breakfast served at Piapi Deli, and you have The Pawnshop bar at night. Location was outstanding, being right next to a pool hall, a food court, with Buglas Isla, La Mensa, Cafe Racer Diner, and Northpoint all within easy reach.

You can hear some road noise even past midnight, but it might have been a busy Saturday night that we went there that's why. Otherwise everything wass perfect and we enjoyed our stay.

l'emplacement est très bruyant , (musique forte le soir et travaux devant notre chambre le matin) . Pas de quoi se faire un thé ou un café dans la chambre (nous avons pris la plus grande suite ) , une fuite d'eau du plafond , nous avons du trouver le chauffe eau pour le mettre en route car pas d'eau chaude à notre arrivée . Nous voyageons beaucoup et l'hôtel est vraiment beaucoup trop cher pour ce que c'est . Pas de buffet pour le breakfast .

Amazing hotel!!!! Best we have stayed in the Philippines. Stunning pool and just lovely kind staff. Amazing bedding too. Free tuk tuk to the ferry port.

I love this new Hotel Dumaguete. It’s got an environmentally-friendly and contemporary design with artworks by local artists at every corner. But what impressed me the most was their impeccable customer service, the front desk staff and the entire breakfast crew (including Joy) were very friendly and attentive. Above all, they were all very swift and efficient at providing help. I had an unfortunate medical emergency one morning… the hotel had a van with a driver at the ready and the guard even carried me to the van! (Side note: calling for an ambulance in the Philippines is rarely the quickest way to get you to hospital). Long story short, they brought me to ER at the university hospital in time and I was able to get the urgent medical help that I needed. I was discharged late that evening and it was a pleasant surprise to see a basket of fruits with a get well card in my room from the hotel staff and management. Team Hotel Dumaguete, I cannot thank you enough for your kindness!

Beautiful rooms and grounds. The pool area is amazing! Outstanding staff - friendly and helpful, with a smile on their face. Very clean, too. The restaurant also has a good selection of western food. Great location and hotel to get some business done.

The end rooms (with balcony) closest to the road can have a bit of street noise up to 11pm.

Service de navette qui est venue nous chercher au port. Très bon accueil du personnel. Très bel hôtel avec une très belle piscine. A distance raisonnable du centre ville à pied.

Les chambres donnant sur la rue sont un peu bruyantes.

The staff was friendly, however not really qualified to the extend that they are able to trouble shoot.

The room amenities. There was no desk, there was no dining area although the web site said there is, there was no mini bar / fridge, so my insulin could not be stored properly, the roller blinds were banging against the wall, we had to us to be able to sleep. Th bed was blocking the TV, the smart TV was only smart enough for 6 local channels. The breakfast offered only 1 coffee, additional coffee is charged extra. Price of the room: PhP 9000 in Dumaguete, even in Manila you get a great or 5 star room for this. We shortened our stay and they made it very hard. They claimed we had to contact Booking.com, but Booking.com send us back to the property. After a while the chicken and the egg story stopped and they promised a refund of PhP 40K+, however we still did not receive that.

Family enjoyed their meal…it was the first time at an hotel or resort our daughter ate all of her food. Wife took photos and posted on her Facebook. I enjoyed the coffee. The WIFI was exceptional. Strongly recommend the La Mensa restaurant located on the property, it’s a very short walking distance behind the hotel.

The paper cups in the pantry are not suitable for hot water.

Location was great, staff and service were excellent and it was convenient to have a deli downstairs and restaurants within walking distance. Tricycles pass by regularly and it is close to city center. Rooftop bar was a nice touch

There is a bar/billiards place just across the street, and soundproofing of the room wasn't very good. We could here noise from across the road until early morning. If you can, request for a room towards the back of the hotel.

The restaurant was good! The rooms were nice, the shuttle was very nice!

The location was a bit off the beaten path, the cheese served at the restaurant was terrible.

The staff! They were so down to earth! and of course the pool!

I loved everything about Hotel Dumaguete. The shower was hot! The cable/internet was available and on point. Netflix and YouTube ready on the television. Beds comfy and water refills free. Quiet street and the Italian restaurant behind the hotel is to die for!

The location was good and the service was wonderful. The staff were very attentive and answered our queries.

For the price that we paid, there were no free toiletries (ie toothbrush and toothpaste). Other than that, no other things to bring up.

Kinda pricey, lift wasn't working at first. Location a little distance from the boardwa.

The suite we stayed at was clean and very comfortable. Sheets and towels are of top quality. Staff were very accommodating. The welcome drink and cold towels were much appreciated in the heat of summer. The free transfer from the port and to the airport was very comfortable and on time, with ice cold water bottles on board. Our experience with room service was fast and on point. The hotel is walking distance to some of the highest rated restaurants in Dumaguete as well as the ocean. Their Deli is also really good. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

The suite is located at the ground floor and there is a bar across the street. There was hardly any soundproofing so you could hear the revelry.

New clean Hotel. Ideal for a short stay. Not far from Airport and Seaport. Well working free transfer to and from Airport.

Staff was very courteous and helpful. Buglas Isla restaurant was amazing - beautiful building and grounds, and great breakfast.

Driver was late picking us up at airport. He was very apologetic.
