This man lied to us about virtually every detail of this rental! Filthy, roaches, mousetraps on the kitchen counter, absolutely uninhabitable, and in tremendous disarray. Obviously, the man is not well, and certainly should not be renting this to anyone, especially on your site. VRBO phone support was unhelpful, and told us it was up to the owner to refund the two nights that we did not stay. He’s now trying to retaliate by saying we caused damage. We have a text from him that indicates there was no damage, that place was damaged time long before we got there. Finally, he almost ruined our multi thousand dollar trip to see the Masters golf tournament, a once in a lifetime trip! We attempted to find other accommodations but they were $1500-$2000 a night. We finally called some friends who had friends in Augusta that we did not know, but they were fortunately kind enough to let us stay Thursday night. We had to cut our trip short find a hotel near Atlanta Friday night. What an awful, awful experience. I am emailing CEO of VRBO tonight, and calling the Augusta health department on Monday morning.
