The location of this rental was perfect. We were close to so many locations we wanted to visit. However, the damp mildew smell that assailed us upon entering caused us some deep regret about booking. There was a very small airpurifer down stairs and an even smaller one up stairs. Not much help. The air grate was filthy and the air filter behind was the same. We requested it be cleaned/changed and was told there were clean ones in the garage. We took off the dirty grate and put both it and the dirty filter in the garage where we found the replacement filter. Consequently the new filter was left to stand on it's own without a grate cover during our stay. The fridge needed cleaning, especially the handle, I cringed every time I had to touch it, and the dining table had an oily residue across the top of it. I used a little DAWN soap and was able to wipe it up so that we could play games and eat at it. The coffee table had sticky glass rings on it which I chose not to mess with. Having been chgd a required amount of money for cleaning services, I felt we had done more than our share of what should have been done by the cleaning crew. Carpets going up the stairs were dirty with stains. Windows were dirty on the sills with dust and bugs. Our beds were all very comfortable, but there were stains on the sheets which caused us to question if they were clean or not. The air quality of this rental should have been disclosed as two of us have respiratory issues.

Great experience and great location to stay. Everything was close and easy to get to. The house itself was comfortable and homey, made it easy to relax.

This property was just as pictured. It has a cozy, homey casual feel. It was very convenient to James Island and Johns Island. I would have liked to have two sets of keys, as my spouse and I were not always together. Guests do not have access to the closet in the master bedroom, so some hooks to hang clothes would have been nice. Also would have liked to have a chair in the master bedroom, as the bed is too tall to sit on. But overall was satisfied and would rent again

The house was very cozy and stocked well. Everything we needed was available. Close to the beach and downtown. Very easy access to the area. Would stay here again!
