Lovely property on the river. Lots of little unexpected amenities added. Very secluded and great place to watch the river traffic.
Some noise from people walking over head and construction noise during working hours. The location is not close to Ridgefield as indicated by Booking.com.

It was clean, charming cool despite the outside temperature, had a view of the river, had an outside sitting area by the hot tub. The bathroom was spacious and lovely. I picked up a couple home decorating ideas as well.

gorgeous location and views, nice styling
unfortunately as we booked the morning of both hosts weren’t aware as one was overseas so the place wasn’t fully cleaned and they didn’t know about us coming - people in hot tub when we arrived around 5pm. Very apologetic but it wasn’t ideal to clean the shower / toilet ourselves etc.

Beautifully appointed, comfortable- hot tub was wonderful - river view was great and sunrises were beautiful over the water
Construction noise was terrible - there was no way I could stay there and relax during the day - back-up beeping, tractoring and, worst of all, pile-driving jack hammering - started at 8:00AM and lasted all day until after 5:00PM - truly unfortunate for the owners who have created such a beautiful space
