The house is very nicely decorated and furnished. There is a public beach access (#28, I believe) within short walking distance. There were lots of chairs and a beach wagon available for use on the beach. The beds were comfortable. My 18 year old stayed in the "bunk room" which was ok for her, but its definitely designed for children. I'm sure a set of cousins or close childhood friends would love it. We enjoyed our time at Ocean's 11.

Total relaxation! Host were super nice and insightful to Edisto. House was perfect beach getaway for family of 5. Beaches were big and easy to access from house. Would go back! Greg

Ocean’s Eleven is adorably updated and was the perfect place for our family of 5 to stay this year! Having linens and towels provided was a game changer, really lightened our travel load. Beds were comfortable and the triple bunk room was awesome! The kids loved the game table and we loved the big comfy couch to lounge on after an exhausting day at the beach with 3 kids 😂 location is great, right around the corner from a beach access on the point and you can walk to Local’s Pizza and Whaley’s (get the sushi nachos. Trust me.) Having the bike trail in the back yard was awesome too! Dan, the owner, was fantastic and made sure we were well taken care of during our stay. He even took time out of his own vacation to help us locate a lost lovey via the security cams on the stairs! Dan and Mel are great hosts and we would gladly rent from them again :)

This house is in the perfect location for Edisto and is just as pictured. A few things I really appreciated were the provided beach games and beach waggons under the house, the high quality kitchen appliances (coffee maker, air fryer, etc.) and the AC and fans that really help to cool you off after too much sun on the beach! The couch and beds are extremely comfortable and having smart TVs in each room was really beneficial when we needed downtime. The electric game table was a huge help for Summer stormy nights with the kids, next time I won't have to pack a bunch of indoor entertainment for them since I know we'll book this house again! Linens, such as the throws, blankets, & towels are high quality and really make you feel at home. Great stay for our family!

Dan and Mel's home is light and bright. We loved all the windows and the charm of the place in general. In addition to this, the amenities and supplies are above and beyond what we've had at other houses on Edisto. It was nice not to have to pack our own sheets and towels and we really appreciated the pack n' play and high chair. Would stay here again! Thank you for a wonderful trip.

Extremely well stocked kitchen and bathroom that has everything you need. There are so many inside and outside games no need to bring anything from home. It is very quiet on that end of the island with lots of deer to look at when you walk the bike path. The house is located close to the beach so it is just a quick walk and you are there. The owner is extremely invested in this house. He is quick to respond, answers questions and is interested in making your stay the best ever!

Our group was very happy with our experience staying here. Clean, great beach access, pet friendly, and great management. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

What a great cottage! Everyone in our group raved about how delightful this house is. Steps from the beach. It's at the quieter end of the island with the bike path just behind the property. A short walk to Whaley's. Everything was spotless when we arrived. All the furnishings, utensils, appliances are in new or like new condition. Tastefully decorated. Our host was attentive and eager to address any concern. We look forward to going back!

This house was perfect for me and my partner. We loved the open, airiness of the space. The weather was warm enough (even though it was February) to open the windows and turn the fans on. You are just steps away from a beach access area. You can also hear the ocean waves and even see a little bit of the ocean from the living room. We had everything we needed for a perfect weekend getaway. The house says it sleeps 10 people but I would caution you that this is not really the set up for a large group of adults. 6 of the beds are bunk beds that might be pretty difficult for adults to get into. I would say that you would probably not want to have more than 2 couples staying together in the home and then if you have children, they could probably comfortably stay in the room with the bunk beds. We had a fantastic stay at Edisto and we highly recommend the house if you are in a smaller group or even just a couple visiting Edisto beach.

House was very clean, very spacious with great coastal vibes. Furniture was comfortable as well! Took 3 mins to talk to the nearest beach accesss point. Ppl with dogs be cautions in the lawns, there are thorns/stickers. other than that, the stay was awesome!

Love the open floor plan of the living room, dining room, and kitchen. Bunk bed mattress were not comfortable (could feel springs through mattress) but besides that great house!

Beautiful home. Much more than we expected! What’s closer to the beach than we had anticipated. Approximately 100 yards and we were on the sand.. The wildlife was spectacular. As soon as we walked out of the house every evening we ran into Deer and raccoons. I will definitely bring a bag of corn the next time we visit!

Just the perfect place to stay, had everything we needed, beautifully remodeled! Highly recommend!

The updates to the house are very well done: kitchen, bathrooms. Living area very spacious and comfortable. Great location and easy walk to the beach. Lack of a driveway and paved walkway to the entrance steps led to a lot of sand spurs getting stuck on shoes and tracked into the house - but this did not ruin our stay in the slightest bit. Great bargain compared to other properties we looked at.

Good location, easy walking access to beach and to Whaley's. Comfortable beds, but not sure if full sized person will fit bunk bed, if that's your plan. Refrigerator was set a bit cold and froze veggies. Overall it was spacious, well lit and fully accomodating.

This beach cottage was the perfect getaway trip! Even though the property is not new, the cosmetic updates and tasteful decor give a fresh feeling to the space. The sectional couch was exceptionally comfortable and the dining table was quite spacious. The outdoor deck was a wonderful option as well to sit and relax. The cottage is only a few minutes away from a beach access. The owner was an excellent communicator and promptly answered any questions. The Edisto beach area in general does have sand spurs; this was something to carefully watch for ourselves and our dog. This concern is not specific to this property, but simply the Edisto area in general (for those who may have not visited previously). The beach is the perfect "sleepy town" location for rest and relaxation. We also appreciated being able to have our 4-legged child with us. It can be difficult to find a vacation rental that is pet friendly yet also still very clean‐‐‐this property was both!! We definitely plan on staying here again in the future.

The cottage was super clean and had everything we needed! The beach access is only 1 block away. We absolutely will be renting the home again!

This is the cutest cottage! We had a wonderful time as a family. So close to the beach and comfortable for our family of 6 (our children are in college and high school so great spot for older children, too). The cottage has old Southern charm with the painted wood floors and ceilings along with sophistication in the beautiful hardware finishes. The house is well appointed and we had everything we needed for cooking, grilling, bathing, and sleeping comfortably. We will be back!

This was very cute and decorated very well. Everything was clean and the beds were very comfortable. My two middle kids loved having the bunk bed room. There was a pack and play for the baby provided. Location was great you crossed road and turned right after a couple of houses and you’re at a public access. Hosts were great at communicating and very understanding.

This is a great little beach cottage if you’re looking for a quiet place to relax and get away from the busyness of life! The cottage is old but has been beautifully updated giving you the charm of an old beach cottage with modern day amenities. Some of the quirks of an older cottage remain but nothing that would detract from your enjoyment! The cottage is perfect for a couple or family with children. We also loved that it was pet friendly; however, be aware that sand spurs are prevalent on Edisto and keep a check on your fur baby. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond to any questions/issues we had during our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location and price

Very cute charming place. We enjoyed the open concept and extremely comfortable couch! Only thing is, no more than 4 adults can sleep comfortably in a bed …. The Bunk room is not adult friendly at all. Small openings , not rated for adult weight . Perfect for littlest ones though. We had 6 adults so 2 slept on the couch. Close enough to beach access.
