Terry was great! Apartment was exactly as described in both the making and the reviews. Perfect for my one night stay and so close to the airport. Will stay again!

My wife and I stayed here for 4 days and found it to be exactly what we needed. Terry gave us all the information before we arrived on the island; even checked beforehand to confirm we were OK with the space. Checking in was simple. The location in central Maui made activities around the island convenient. There are tons of food options were available within a 10 minute drive. We were within 30 minutes of the start of the Road to Hana, beaches in Kihei and the airport. The room itself was great for us; we spent more time in the room than planned because of some of the weather on the island, and while the space is small, it never felt too cramped. The highlight for us was the cats that would greet us every morning and each time we came back to the room.

Little hidden gem in the heart of the city. Very good use of it’s space. Cozy and clean. The shower is pretty rad!

Loved the Hawaiian decorating touches including the surfboard as part of the shower. Do not recommend bringing large suitcases for this unit. The fob for the gated entry gave a sense of security. The cat scat mats worked beautifully. We ate in-house breakfast each day and dinner away each night. The unit is not set up to cook a full meal. The night lighting is subdued, pretty and useful for bathroom access at night. The bed was very comfortable. If you are going to be away sightseeing all day, this is a lovely little space to come to sleep at night.

It suited our purposes but was very tiny. 4 people could not fit to all sit down. Worked out for a one night stay going to airport. Lots of cats.

This location was very relaxing! Just what we needed. Terry was available to answer questions, "how do we start the fire pit?" and others. It was great to have all the basics (seasonings, dishes) for food prep, bathing and beach visits. The indoor area is small but sufficient and well thought out. The outdoor area is marvelous (and why we went to Hawaii). Definitely the perfect location for us.

The property was very nice. Everything a small studio apartment would have. Very clean inside. Lots of extras just in case you forgot something. My only problem was all the cats. They are everywhere and you can clearly smell them inside the apartment. Couldn’t have the windows open because you’d get slapped in the face with cat smell.

Terry has created a lot of charm in a small space. This apartment is part of a small circle of living spaces encircling the gravel entry and still has room for a garden area for relaxing. The space inside is small but had everything we needed in an efficient and creatively designed space. Quick and friendly responses from Terry. We thought it was charming and would stay there again!

Our stay was amazing, we could not stop talking about how much we enjoyed spending time here. This adorable, cozy place has exceeding our expectations and the pictures didn’t do this place justice. The bed had a great balance of not being firm, and not overly plush. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, the property is definitely taken care of! The host, Terry is absolutely amazing and such a sweet and lovable woman! She brought us over fresh passion fruit and gave us awapuhi (shampoo ginger) straight from her garden. Terry has definitely put so much effort in every single detail in her rental. You can feel all her love and passion into creating the perfect home away from home for her guests. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get away and really embrace the beautiful island of Maui.

Property was as advertised, very cool ambiance, small interior but for those who want value and efficiency this spot does the trick. Quite private and has a well designed shower. We had a great time.

We needed a 1 night stay near airport and this place was perfect. Tiny living space but it had all the amenities we needed: kitchen supplies, toaster, fridge, etc. Terrific large bathroom and shower, comfortable bed, cold AC. Nice outdoor hang area. Would recommend!

We spent two nights here- had a lovely warm welcome by the sweet cats all around. The suite was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable as well! Terry was a very accommodating host- very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to lots of little restaurants/cafes and more. Perfect suite for our little stay in Maui!

We booked this cute little place for our week stay on Maui. It was exactly what we needed. It is small but comfortable. It is centrally located to everything we wanted to go see and do. I would recommend this for anyone who loves to be out on the beach or trails. The host is very nice and gives you privacy but is available if needed. This is definitely our place to come back to on our next trip. Also the outside cats are so sweet and adorable.

I am a tiny woman. In many ways, this was a tiny house. Very cute and adorable on the inside. Everything is compact and often multifunctional. I enjoyed it. My husband, being bigger, not so much. He had a hard time moving around. We only stayed overnight. We loved the restaurant our host suggested. She was very nice.

Terry is the best! We had originally booked for several days, but then the Maui fires interrupted everything. She was in such great communication the whole time and through all of the uncertainty. We ended up having to cancel but we did get to stay for 1 night after all. What a sweet little spot! Such a cute place with lots of special touches. The bathroom is the best, so cool. Bed was comfy. There's an air conditioner. Kitchen was well set up for the small space. Lots of outdoor space to hang out in as well. The property itself is right in Wailuku, but it's fairly secluded and surprisingly quiet. I loved all of the kitties that visited or hung out on the property. I stayed here with my husband, and we would stay again, next time for longer! Mahalo, Terry for sharing your special space and for being a wonderful host. ❤️

We were in and out in a minute. Wish we had more time to stay. However, Terry was an amazing host and incredible to work with. She was quick to offer us 5 hours early check-in and ample added time to check out. She was extraordinarily helpful and responsive. Terry does an amazing job utilizing a small space. Such unique decorating. The shower and bathroom or very roomy with hot water and strong flow. Very cute COOL shower and bathroom.

We had everything we needed in this cute rental. We loved the outdoor shower, small refrigerator, water kettle, and patio area. Everything and more that we needed. Terry brought us bananas and lilikoi that had just gotten ripe from the garden for our breakfast. He was also extremely responsive! We enjoyed watching the cats on the property. Don't hesitate on this little rental!

Loved the stay here overall at Terry’s VRBO. She was a great host being always responsive and proactive with good directions and activity recommendations for the island. She was very friendly when we met her and the fruit she offered from her daughters trees were some of the best I’ve ever had. The bed was comfortable and there were beach items to borrow when we needed it. It was quite warm however so be prepared to need the fan and AC all night and the space was pretty small for our things so it’s a place for you to enjoy what the island has to offer. The location was convenient and would definitely stay again!

Terry is an amazing host. The house was located perfectly, less than a 10 minute drive to hiking trails or to a nearby beach. We got a lot of hiking and restaurant recommendations, which was super helpful. Would recommend for one or two people traveling. We had an amazing time staying here, and would recommend booking with Terry.

Perfect place for Maui. It’s very small but it is super nice and has a great personality, excellent place if you want to go out to Maui beaches rather than stay home and watch TV. Highly recommended

My friend and I had an awesome stay. We both are college students that live on Oahu so we hopped islands for the weekend. The ambiance was excellent. The cats that come by at night were cute. Especially being in a budget, it was a great experience and totally recommend!
