Our family of four had a wonderful stay at this extremely clean and comfortable home. The home was spacious and decorated perfectly. The kitchen had everything needed to make a Thanksgiving dinner. My communication with Alex was easy—very polite and gracious. Will come back!

This house was perfect!!!! It left us with the feeling of wanting to relocate our family to Florida after staying in this house. So clean, so neat and it has everything that one might need during their stay. It has an elevated feeling and look of sleekness and elegance with a beach feel all at the same time. We hope to be able to stay at this property for our future vacations.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Morningside Retreat. The pictures were stunningly accurate regarding the property, and the minute we stepped inside, we felt relaxed. The home is spacious and gave us plenty of room to play and spread out, but still enough privacy that our teen son felt like he had his own space. The kitchen had everything you could need for cooking on your own, and the location was nearby several great restaurants and food options. Having laundry facilities on property made for a smooth transition home as we went home with everything clean! The exterior was well lit so on a few late night arrivals from beach combing and bargain hunting, we were able to navigate the property easily. Neighbors were nice and the surroundings were peaceful. We had stunningly beautiful weather and were able to explore several nearby beaches for sharks teeth, and we were a 10-15 minute drive from Caspersen, Venice Beach and even parts of Manasota Beach. SUPER LOCATION! A coastal oasis... inland! Alex, our host, was incredibly easy and cooperative to work with, even when our arrival landed us an hour before check in. There wasn't one negative thing to say except we hated to leave! We will use this propriety again for stays in the Venice area and have already shared the property with a few family and friends. Great property, great vacation, great experience!

We were very impressed with how much space this home had. We were so spread out and comfortable with our family. It really helped us with the little one to be on the otherside of the home when he woke up in the night to not wake up his grandpa. The decor was gorgeous and very modern yet inviting. I have extreme pet and dust allergies and this home was cleaned and prepared to a very high standard. I can honestly say it is one of the most hypoallergenic rentals I've stayed in. The owner was also very communicative in answering any questions and helping with booking. We even reached out to extend our stay and Alex was on it right away. Beds were very comfy and supportive. Lastly, every detail was thought out, down to extra throw blankets, baby items, stocked kitchen, and extra beach gear in the garage we ended up using. I would definitely recommend! If you are looking ro stay in Venice, this is close to everything and has it all. We would stay again! 10 out of 10!

Wonderful host. Clean and welcoming home. Close the the beach, shops and downtown.
