Beautiful comfortable elegant stay. The host was very responsive

We chose this location as a part-way point between Bangor and Saint John, New Brunswick that would give us a convenient place from which to visit the Maine coast. We had an excellent experience! Comfortable beds and just enough space to give each of two teens enough room to co-exist harmoniously for our two night stay. We loved the decor. We also had two excellent breakfasts at the Harbor Market downstairs. Despite rainy, chilly weather, we were so comfortable and would happily have stayed longer.

We wanted to stay outside the Bar Harbor area and still have access to Acadia and points north. Winter Harbor is perfect. The accommodations are attractive, clean, well appointed and above the Harbor Market. Just walk down for coffee, breakfast sandwiches or pastries. What could be better than that! Good communication with property manager and the apartment is spacious and comfortable! Winter Harbor has several excellent restaurants! We would stay again!

We had such a great time in Winter Harbor on our Maine adventure. This location in this quiet town was perfect - we told the locals we wouldn’t post or say anything about it in efforts to keep it a quiet, lovely place. But, it wouldn’t be right not to review the lodging since it was just want we needed and made the trip to Maine that much better. As two city folks, we liked the walkability to grocery store(s) and bars. We loved sitting out back at night/in the morning while listening to the waves lap in harbor. It was an absolute delight all around. I’d say more lovely things - but you should experience Winter Harbor for yourself!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Steven’s place. Nicely furnished with lots of personality and comfortable beds. Conveniently located over Harbor Market and about a 45 minute drive to Acadia. Steven was very hospitable and responsive to our questions. Would definitely stay again!

Highly recommend. Location is perfect for visitors who are staying long enough to experience both sides of Acadia National Park. Indeed, as avid hikers we were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed the Schoodic peninsula aspect of Acadia. If you like to cook you will find a very nice kitchen In the apartment and two excellent sources of provisions within two blocks. In addition, there are several very good restaurants within walking distance. This was our third visit to Acadia over 20 years. Our first as retirees and our best by far.

We had two nights booked at this lovely apartment. However, Hurricane Lee was coming in on the second night. Since we had to leave early, our host graciously refunded the money for the second night.
