We were going to a wedding in New Gloucester. Finding a hotel close was challenging at a decent price. This house was a perfect solution! Spacious. Ambience. The views were amazing with the lake only a few steps away from the front door. And it sleeps a ton of people. A fantastic value! I would totally stay here again.

Great vacation spot! Very private as specified. The home was very clean and comfortable. The dock was very useful. Enjoyed using kayaks and a canoe. Also, we had a great time fishing and paddle boarding. A place we will definitely be revisiting.

As a deviation from our normal beach vacations, we decided to "get away from it all" and head to Maine for a week of some much needed quiet recharging. This house is clean, comfy, and well supplied. The long dock was the site of morning coffee, and afternoon/evening drinks sipped in silence. The lake gets busy on the weekends, but the weekdays are calm, and everyone we met that week was friendly. We took a day trip into Portland (45 min away) and a day trip to Mt. Washington (1.5 hrs away) and loved that when we were done running around, we could come back to the house and just chill. The owners were very pro-active and wanted to make sure we enjoyed ourselves, which we most certainly did. A huge thank you to them!

My husband had a big birthday this week and we wanted a relaxing, quiet celebration with our children and grandchildren. Rob and Kirsten’s home on Tripp Lake was the perfect escape. The house is charming, clean and has modern appliances and space for everyone (including a teenager, a tween, and a toddler)! The lake is clean and shallow enough for the littles. Rob and Kirsten provided kayaks and a canoe - which gave everyone a chance to get out on the water. The dock is a lovely place to sit and listen to the loons or search for eagles (which some of us saw)! The fire pit is easy to use and made for some fun times after dark. We hadn’t been to the Poland area before- there’s not a lot there but you are an easy drive to whatever you want - and the house is only a couple of minutes from a supermarket and a McDonald’s. The neighbors are close, but they were very nice. We look forward to coming back to this lovely home.
