Beautiful property! The drive up was great, the view off the balconies was beautiful even in winter time. It had everything we needed with lots of space to accommodate our large group

Wonderful long weekend spent at this great cabin! Ample room for all! (4 adult couples) Beautiful view! Enjoyed game room as well! Communication was great from hosts and Easy access!

We had a nice stay for the weekend of my fiancés birthday with several friends from surrounding areas. We had plenty of space in the cabin and lots of fun things to do all around including games/pool table/hot tub, and even just walking in the neighborhood/resort area.

Laurie's house is phenomenal! A group of us came to stay for a few nights (10 adults) and we had more than enough space. The rooms were great and no one felt like they were getting the short end of the stick. We were supplied with more than enough towels and washcloths as well. Communication was great and Laurie was very responsive and hospitable. We loved the space on the decks and the fire pit allowed us to enjoy it as it was pretty cold during our stay. Not to mention theres an amazing view of the water - it was so peaceful and serene. We loved the game rooms as well as we enjoyed the puzzles, checkers, and pool table! We've taken this trip for 6 years now and this house was our favorite without a doubt. Even better, since it's located in a resort, there's a spa 2 minutes away we visited for massages and facials (it was life changing). There are also many other amenities you can use through the resort as well (putt putt, an indoor pool, boat rentals, etc.). I highly recommend this cabin for groups looking for a nice place to enjoy nice views and a great time with family or friends. We hope to come back again!

My siblings and our spouses once again booked Dancing Falls to celebrate our mother’s birthday (now deceased), and to enjoy each other. This cabin is so homey and fits our needs. The hot tub, the fire pit, the game room for the guys to have their “man cave” to watch football, the view, sitting out on the deck and listening to the babbling water run over the rocks —-it’s all just so great! Laurie, the host was so accommodating and prompt with her replies to any questions you might have. You will not be disappointed !

We have wanted to take our three children and their families to the Mountains for a week of fun and relaxation. We chose Dancing Falls and are so glad . It did not disappoint! The home was perfect for our family. There was something for everyone. The home was spacious and fully stocked. It was everything and more than described. There were things to do for the kids at the resort as well. The owners went above and beyond to accommodate us. .We were an hour away from Asheville, NC and all it had to offer. I highly recommend staying here. I’m hoping we can return in the near future!

We rented this cabin for our annual cousin’s trip and it was awesome! Super clean, great fire pit on the deck and the kitchen was perfect for gathering together and hanging out. The hosts were extremely accommodating as well letting us know the cabin was ready hours in advance which was exciting to get the vacation started early! It really was a great place to stay… and I’m pretty picky! Haha

We had a fantastic time at Dancing Falls Lodge for our Fall Crafting Retreat! Laurie was a fantastic host with great communication, and even let us have flexible check-in and check-out times with no hassle at all! The house instructions were clear and organized for directions, lock codes, hot tub use, and more. Plus there was plenty of room for groceries, cooking, and board game play for a large group of people. We will absolutely be back!!!

We had 12 girls staying at this cabin for a week. All the rooms are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. The host was very easy to contact. The view from the windows is amazing. This cabin has everything you could want and more.

I help organize an annual trip for 12 guys to play golf. This was our 10th year and the first time we have returned to Lake Lure since 2019. We normally have stayed at the Fairway Villas, which are nice, but all of us being able to stay at the same house made the trip even better. The house was great, communication with owner was great, we all had a comfortable place to sleep, and we had a great time hanging out on the back deck by the fire pit. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

While the description says 5 bedrooms & 4 full baths, it was very embarrassing & a very unpleasant surprise at this price point to see that the 3 bedrooms upstairs share only 1 bathroom. (The next closest bathroom is down a long flight of stairs and across the living area….most inconvenient at night, so the 1 bathroom upstairs had to do.) And anyone using the farther one (on the main level) had to tote their clothes, toiletries, etc with them. It is very unusual to have a second full bath on the main level but no 2nd bedroom anywhere near it……especially at this price point! The written description does not say the “ bedroom 5” location, which is upstairs with the other 2. The most annoying part was that with all “senior” couples as guests, I specifically asked in advance if there was anything unusual about the house & was told nothing about this. After we got all of our collective stuff in & settled, the host did ask if we wanted to move to another place that “is not as conveniently set up”, and offered another option a day or so later. Otherwise, she was extremely available & helpful with Info & check-in & out times. Just be forewarned…

We stayed at Dancing Falls Lodge for our annual family vacation—3 families with 6 adults and 4 children. Our family is all about experiences and making memories, and Dancing Falls was the perfect choice. Well layed-out and equipped, we had everything we needed for spending time together cooking family meals and playing family games, but also finding separate spaces to quietly read a book or relax. Located in a secluded spot within the resort, with beautiful views from 3-levels of balconies, we were able to enjoy the outdoors — relaxing with a drink, soaking in the hot tub, enjoying the fire pit, and making s’mores. The property manager lives near and is attentive and responsive, ensuring guests have everything they need for the experience they desire.

This house easily accommodated 15 family members and had great amenities. The mattresses were a little uncomfortable but for our short stay they were adequate. The owner is very nice and provided great suggestions that were helpful. Our family is already considering a return trip to this property and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a large home in the Rumbling Bald resort.

I am widowed and took both my children and their families for Spring break 2022. We do at least one family trip a year. Lake Lure and this amazing home made for a very happy family time. Lots of room to spread out, many things in the house to entertain the grandchildren and beautiful views out every window. We had beautiful fires and ate in most nights. Easy to eat in with the well equipped kitchen. The house manager was all over the tho small problem we had. One tub wasn’t draining well. Laurie had a man there at 8:00 Sunday night to remedy the problem. I didn’t call her till Sunday afternoon. Amazing! We will be returning to this “Dirty Dancing” home. The Jones Family

The walk down the deck set the mood for the entire stay...you see water and feel the breeze as you walk in...the house has everything you need to have a full vacation...pool table, hot tub, fire pit, poker table and a great grill !!! you don't even need to leave !!! we had a fabulous time and enjoyed everything the house had to offer and the owner stayed in communication with us when needed :)

We had a blast at the beautiful “Dancing Falls” cabin! We had our four children, my Mom and our 5 grandsons. One of our 6 year old grandsons is wheel chair bound and there was ample room on the main floor for him to get around! The view was stunning…even in the dead of winter! The resort amenities were enjoyed by all. We played putt putt, swam in the indoor pool and shopped at the gift shop. We would definitely recommend staying at “Dancing Falls” in the beautiful Lake Lure community!

The weekend was an absolute blast! The property is magnificent and the owners were so gracious to put up a Christmas tree for us before we got there! I would recommend this place to everybody!

Had a great time playing golf at Rumbling Bald and Apple Valley courses. Enjoyed the comfort of the home and the space it allowed all of the guests. Highly recommend a stay at this property.

The Dancing Falls lodge is beautiful and is surrounded with many things to keep the family entertained. My family and I met there for our summer vacation and came from two separate states. There were 20 of us in all and we weren't the least bit cramped. I would recommend this rental to others as an exciting place to stay. Laurie and Tom are very considerate and helpful rental agents.

We had the most amazing time in Lake Lure. We went zip lining, horseback riding, kayaking, rented a pontoon boat, etc. Our stay at the "Dirty Dancing" house couldn't have been better. The house is more beautiful in person than in pictures. Comfortable, clean, great location, etc. If you are looking for a great place to relax and "get away" this is the place!!!

Our family Thanksgiving gathering here was wonderful! The house was well stocked with all the basic necessities for making a Thanksgiving meal. Laurie was great in responding quickly to any questions we had, and her and her husband even brought over a new grill when the one there wasn't working correctly. Top notch hospitality! If you have people prone to car sickness the road to get to the property is very winding, but the view and property is well worth it! The property was as described and had plenty of activities for everyone. We didn't do any of the resort amenities except miniature golf - but the Wellness Center were it was located was nice and had a lot of outdoor activities (several corn holes, giant Connect 4 game, giant chess, pickle ball etc.) The beds were comfy and the hot tub was great! Would recommend bringing lounging blankets - only because with a big group of people there is always differences on what the temperature should be - and the lower level of the house is naturally a little cooler. The walk down to the bridge is VERY steep - so only recommended for those in good physical condition and used to hiking, but well worth the up close view of the falls :). We were a family of 10 Adults - 4 couples and 2 singles and this house provided plenty of room and fun for everyone.

We loved the location. The cabin. The view. Everything! The owners went above and beyond. Can’t wait to come back!

This cabin experience was one of the best that I have had! The property felt really clean, the couches were comfortable and great for large parties, and the location felt very private even while located in a resort area. Laurie was super communicative and helpful. 100% would go back!
