It was spacious and we really liked the kitchen and living area upstairs. We also enjoyed the hot bub and how close it was to the Boulder base. We were a little disappointed in the cleanliness when we got there and there was not enough toilet paper and paper towels provided. I worked very well for our family. I would still recommend this to others.

This is a wonderful property!!! I took my family there for our annual ski trip and we had the best time. The house was spacious, clean, well appointed and had a great location. Easy access to Heavenly and a quick drive to restaurants and casinos.

The house looks exactly as advertised. Communication with the owner and property manager was easy and fast. Could use new mattresses and lighting (bright LED bulbs in dimmers that don’t dim). Snow removal was slow…yes, there was a blizzard. We paid the local snowplow ourselves to clear the driveway. We arrived to find only one working shovel and requested additional shovels which arrived a few hours later. Bedrooms are FREEZING because all of the heat seems to go to one of the upstairs bedrooms and none of the others. Safeway grocery store is nearby. Plenty of towels. A very nice place for a group or family!

My family and friends enjoyed our stay in this house. The hot tub and pool table were used a lot. The house was well stocked with plates, utensils and pots. It would have been helpful to have a few more kitchen towels and mats by the doors. The floors got really wet from all the snow! We had to use the white towels for the floor. But overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

We had a group of 10 adults and it was the perfect property. Close walk to the ski lift and plenty of room for everyone. Evie took great care to make sure everything was ready and that we enjoyed our stay.

The house was super nice and comfortable but the house keeping was not good at all the floors and baseboards where filthy, our kids could not play on the ground without us going out and buying new mops and cleaners because the ones there were not usable. The exterior decking also needs some repairs because one of the kids tripped on a loose board and popped nails.

The property is centrally located and was easy to access Stateline and the highway that travels around the lake. Evie and her property manager were responsive to the few questions we had, which put us at ease from the moment we arrived.

We had an amazing stay at this home! Plenty of bed rooms and common areas for a large group. House was in a great location and well equipped with everything you would need. Can’t wait to return!

The house was perfect for our group! Loved how everyone had their own space and bathroom but have plenty of room to hang out together too! And it was great to have a market and BBQ restaurant so close!!

We loved our time at Chef Dave’s! Communication with host is top notch! Location couldn’t have been better for all the fun Tahoe has to offer! House is large and clean and the hot tub was a huge hit! Thanks Evie!

Loved the 6 bedrooms and 5 baths, and 3 en-suite bedrooms. Also, a great kitchen and table and large attached family room. Great for pets and owner communication. House is updated and is excellent. Sounds like most Tahoe homes do not need air conditioning, but it would be more accurate to have in the Exclusions area, as we went at end of Jul and it was close to 80 degrees in the home - I am sure most months this is not a problem, but we were surprised as we assumed it would have AC.

If you like to cook n relax this is the house. There is a fully equipped kitchen with multiple of everything ( coffe pots, plates, cups, silverware) we utilized everything. This house felt like home, so much so we only ate out 1 time. We all leveled up our pool game with the multiple games we played together. Then we all came together for a relaxing dip in the cozy hot tub. Would definitely recommend renting this house if your looking for a price fun getaway.

The vacation house was conveniently located next to Heavenly's Boulder and Stagecoach base lifts as well as a short drive to Heavenly Village.
The house was immaculately clean. The bedrooms were perfect for our two families to reunite and enjoy the spring skiing conditions.
The kitchen included a number of appliances (slow cookers, two coffee pots), great pans, and plentiful glassware and dishes.
We will surely recommend this property to friends and family visiting Lake Tahoe!

This is THE spot to stay if going to Heavenly resort and Stateline. A short walk to the lifts, groceries, and a short drive to the nightlife and casinos. The house is beautiful, spacious, and accommodating. My group loved the chef's kitchen and the numerous bedrooms and bathrooms. There's no better place to stay and we'd love to visit again!

Evie was such a great host, she communicated quickly and was extremely accommodating. The house was better than expected with fully stocked kitchen. We had a wonderful time on our ski trip!! Would highly recommend this spot.

This property had EVERYTHING. Not only is the property in a fantastic location, filled with beds and bathrooms, all of the little things were there too. The pillows and bedding were good, the communication with the host was absolutely stellar, and it was spotless. I would HIGHLY recommend. Fantastic value.

We had a blast staying here. The rooms were filled with beds so that everyone during our stay was comfortable. The kitchen and its amenities were enough for us to make some great meals. The shuttle is on the road not the house to Stagecoach and Boulder lifts, and the Boulder parking lot is just a short walk away, although walking back up to the house with boots and skis is a bit challenging after a day of skiing.

We had a nice stay at this property. Evie was great to work with and maintained excellent communication. The place is spacious, well kept and walking distance to the boulder lodge/lift along with convenience store and restaurant.

We stayed at Chef Dave’s for a family vacation (7 adults and 2 kids). After having some family vacations cancelled due to COVID and then the Caldor Fire, we were grateful to be in Tahoe. The house is huge, can sleep plenty of people, has some many bathrooms and the kitchen is very well equipped. The furniture is comfortable as well as the beds. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Gathering Home!! We love this home. We gathered all our children and grandchildren for a fun four nights at the Tahoe House! Loved all the rooms and bathrooms. Loved and used the laundry, hot tub, big kitchen and dining table, lots of chairs and bar stools , BBQ, pool table (that was a hit), TVs in many rooms which was great for littles. We loved sitting on the decks and taking in the views👍. We loved the pines!! At night we saw stars and shooting stars. Location is awesome to the beaches and town.
The owner was great to work with and answered all our questions. Thank You for the great home!! We would rent it again for sure!!!

We started 2 years ago to set up reservations. Everything was scheduled for 2020. COVID hit and the owner was fantastic. We rescheduled for this year.
Everyone loved the house and location. I can't say enough to describe the wonderful time had by all 5 families.

We got Chef Dave’s house for us and our wedding party to stay for the week. There was plenty of room and a quick and easy route to the main drag in South Lake Tahoe! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.
