The best accommodation we stayed in a two weeks Iceland trip.

The location was perfect in close to Husavik. The view over the harbor was very nice. It has everything we needed and then some. Good communication before and after arrival. The location is above a supermarket but you really did not notice it. But it was very convenient if you needed anything. The washer/ dryer were great.

Excellent location in Husavik. Comfortable beds, clean, nicely equipped kitchen, plus washer and dryer. They had a Welcome plate with slices of cake for when we arrived. Great view! Easy to deal with and prompt response to any questions or messages we had. Would definitely recommend Guesthouse Maddy.
Perhaps a few directions in English for the washer and dryer. We figured everything out but it did take us awhile. Maybe another skillet and larger pot for fixing food. Otherwise very nice place.
