Entire open space - freedom for our little one to run around the property well serviced for self catering access to a basic swimming pool 5 minutes to the supermarket and Kilarney

Castlerosse looked like a UK center parcs - it wasn't. It appeared to be nestled in the forest - it wasn't. It is some basic lodges surrounding a central car park. The children's play area was basic, as was the swimming pool. We booked hoping that our daughter could run around outside - this wasn't safe due to the moving traffic

The spacious, comfortable accommodation in a lovely location. Enjoyed the food and the typical Irish entertainment. Liked the easy accessible walks close by.

facilities like pool staffed by really friendly people….tennis courts, excellent location, lovely set up in house . had evening meal & couldn’t have been better looked after… niece is coeliac and staff & kitchen we’re so accommodating.

The homes here are situated in a beautiful park/lake setting with ample wildlife to easily view no matter where you're home is located. Specifically, we enjoyed seeing a unicorn (deer with one antler) up really close for the first time!! It was right beside our parked car. You can tell that the animals are used to people staying nearby. The breakfast service was good with an amazing view to enjoy as well. There are lots of activities on and off site to enjoy for families with or without kids. The fine location and easy access to the Ring of Kerry exceeded our expectations!

We had a few issues trying to adjust the heating in our home; however, with some minor fiddling, we were comfortable. The morning after we checked in, I rung the reception desk to report a few maintenance issues (bathroom fan and bathroom heater not working) that needed to be addressed. However, by the time we checked out (we were there for 3 days/2 nights), the issues still hadn't been fixed. We did not have enough hot water our first night and we had to call the reception desk in order to learn that the water heater had to be adjusted to accomodate the specific hours we planned on showering. Despite the homes being situated in a park, our "view" was a parking lot...

The house is really nice and it is located close to Killarney. The area is calm, with a beautiful view on the lake.
