Betty es una casa de campo de Cornualles muy bien presentado construida a mediados de 1800.
Nuestra casa de campo recientemente reformado, está bien equipado y amueblado con mucho pensamiento para su comodidad y relajación. Las 2 habitaciones están equipadas con una cama de matrimonio en el dormitorio principal y 2 camas individuales en el dormitorio 2, hábilmente dispuestas para maximizar el espacio, que junto con un sofá cama doble en el salón proporcionan fórmulas flexibles de dormir.
Esperamos inspirar un ambiente tranquilo desde donde se puede descansar. Es un lugar ideal para pequeñas familias y parejas.
Errantes de la puerta hasta el frente del puerto con su gran cantidad de cafés y tiendas de artesanía. Se puede disfrutar del lujo y la comodidad de la ubicación, ya que está a 5 minutos a pie del puerto y sólo una corta distancia de la impresionante y adecuado para niños playa de Porthminster, Porthmeor y Porthgwidden playa junto con la Tate Gallery, que son de fácil distancia caminando.

On approach to the cottage I was dismayed to see the gutters overflowing with weeds etc. This, I thought, does not bode well. However, the inside was nice and jolly with plenty of seaside themed pictures and assorted sculptures. The furnishings were in very good order, and the variety of lighting options good. The dining table had bench seats - fine for breakfast but not too relaxing of an evening.
The beds are comfortable - one large double, two singles in a bunk style. Plenty of wardrobe space and drawers. The bathroom has a nice bath, but the shower is tiny; the water though was good and hot. A problem we find in most lets, as in this one, is a lack of shelf space in the bathroom, and there is space for some tiered racks in the corners. Nice towels. No shower gel.
The kitchen had only six mugs. There was no washing up liquid and no dishwasher tablets, not things we carry with us or would buy on a short break.
Betty's Cottage, although beside a road, is in an excellent position being close to everything you will need - beach, shops, bus stop, taxis, cinema, pubs and restaurants.
We thought it in need of a little TLC to bring it back to the five star cottage we're sure it once was, but nevertheless a nice place to stay.

This was a lovely cottage with everything I needed to be self sufficient while visiting St. Ives. The hosts were very responsive to my last minute questions about where to by groceries and how to access the cottage and secure parking. While the cottage is on a main road, the road noise was insignificant it was absolutely quiet overnight.

Lovely little cottage with everything we needed for a few nights away. Good location, 1-minute walk from the main shopping streets and 2 minutes from the quay. Everything was accurately advertised and the owners responded very quickly to texts. Free secure parking space was an added bonus. No complaints.

A great stay in a good location for the period between Christmas and New Year. Clean, cosy with everything we needed. Lots of space for two. Parking just a short walk away - what more could you want for a short break!

Our stay at Betty’s Cottage was wonderful! The cottage was spotlessly clean with everything we needed. It’s a quick walk to the shops and beaches. We would highly recommend and can’t wait to go back.

We loved our stay in Betty’s cottage. The cottage was very clean and tidy and It was in a perfect location. A stones throw away from the centre of St. Ives with shops, restaurants and takeaways within a two minute walk. Having a secure parking space was brilliant. We would definitely recommend Betty’s cottage.

Had a little difficulty finding it but hosts were most helpful.

We stayed October thankfully term as a family of four. The cottage is very cute and decorated well. It’s quirky yet comfortable and we were very at home in the property. It is well equipped and we cooked several meals in the little kitchen. Beds were comfy and we all slept well.
The location is excellent as is the parking space. We would love to return.

Our group of two couples thoroughly enjoyed our stay in St. Ives at Betty's Cottage. It was perfectly located within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go, and fairly priced. The host was attentive, and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend!

Really cosy house in a great location just a few minutes from the harbour and all the beaches. A parking space just up the road is a massive bonus when staying in St Ives. No problems encountered and we'll come again.

Another lovely stay. We had the best week! We love this cottage as it ticks all the boxes for us. We stayed here with our 2 yr old previously and came back this time with her as an 8 yr old and our 5 yr old. The kids loved the room set up and it was well equipped for our stay as a family of young children. Great communication from owners who go above and beyond. The added bonus of a secure car park space is amazing, a rare thing in st ives! We visit st ives regularly and love the location of the cottage. Away from the hustle of the main area but a super easy 5 min walk. Great location for all the beaches and in walking distance to all.

This was our seventh stay at Betty’s cottage in eight years. The cottage is just right for the two of us, beautifying and appropriately decorated, cosy and homely. Great location. We’ll be back again!

Me, my husband and our 3 children came to stay at Betty's cottage for a long weekend getaway in our favourite place, St Ives. Perfect location to all amenities, restaurants & bars. Cottage was cosy and beautifully decorated with plenty of things to admire. Very clean and information left for us was helpful. Communication with owners was good too. We literally couldn't fault our stay here, it was the most picture perfect little cottage and our getaway has been dreamy. Also, the parking is a very big added bonus! We can't wait to come back to Betty's cottage.

On a arrival the property was clean and tidy. the only thing we could ask for would be a better understanding of the heating, we did have trouble in understanding the programmable device.

Could of been better!!!
Arrived at cottage at 3 pm only to find no keys in the key safe, after several phone calls and a 30 minute wait keys were dropped off… this resulted in us be late for a pre arranged meal with family and friends 😡 No toilet paper provided just what you need after a 6 hr drive😡 apart from these two negatives the cottage , location and closeness of the car parking are all superb.. would use again..

It's just beautifully decorated with a welcoming feel. As soon as I walk through the door I just feel so relaxed. A five minute walk gets you to the harbour and town beach, 10 minutes to Porthminster and Porthmeor. Lots of things to keep you occupied in St Ives itself, good choice of restaurants and lots do takeout too. Got to mention the Cornish Deli for food, and Harbour View House for coffee with a view. Bettys is the perfect base for exploring further afield especially with the convenience of having a car parking space. Always have to catch a ride on the branch line to St Erth, stunning scenery. Gordon & Jo have got themselves a little gem with Betty's and just so grateful they are sharing it. No doubt I will return in the near future.
