Incredibly helpful owner who was great company too. The views on the terrace are absolutely stunning. AC in the room was a lifesaver and the location was perfect.

I stayed at an accommodation with a breathtaking view, and the host took excellent care of us. She prepared delicious breakfast for us. The accommodation was clean and tastefully decorated with a sense of art. There was a space available for preparing simple meals, and we had air conditioning. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home in the accommodation. The host was very helpful, attentive, and kind. She communicated perfectly in English and assisted us whenever we needed it. It was the best accommodation we had in Sicily.

This accommodation is not suitable for people with mobility issues. There is no elevator, and the stairs to the apartment are narrow. It could be problematic for someone with mobility challenges.

We happened to be the first guests of Francesca’s “Casa Cattauro” and it made our experience of Erice even more special when you feel that you’re visiting lovely home not a hotel. On our trips I always try to find places with authentic character to get a taste of how local people live. Francesca treated us a dearest friends of the Sicilian family with “everything you wish” breakfast, recommendations of the local places to visit and eat. Casa Cattauro is decorated and kept with an exquisite taste and neatness. The views from the terrace are breathtaking. We were so lucky to discover this place and definitely will be back when we’re next time in Erice. I’m so glad we decided to stay here, not in Trapani.
