Cabin was amazing. The setting is gorgeous. Very private. Highly recommend.

We stayed at the cabin on Nolin Lake for a weekend getaway celebrating my dad's 80th birthday. It was perfect, so much more than we had anticipated. The pictures online do not capture the beauty, spaciousness, and homey feel of the cabin. It was very clean, smelled nice (which is a big thing for my husband), and filled with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The host communicated thoroughly and responded quickly to questions. We have zero complaints and nothing but positive, wonderful memories that were made. We are hoping to make a return visit in the near future. Would highly recommend.

Nice cabin with all the amenities

We had a great family getaway in this cabin. The owner was extremely accommodating with extra requests. The cabin was well equipped with indoor and outdoor games. The kitchen had everything we could possible need. Would love to have stayed longer and will definitely book this cabin again!

Clean, comfortable cabin with modern amenities. Wooded location was quiet and serene. View of the lake was relaxing. Lots to do: games, campfire, hiking; close to lake activities of boating, fishing.

Very pretty place, at least as nice as you'd expect from the pictures! Host has everything very well-organized, including a really nice guide book/binder on the area.

My sisters and I loved this cabin. It's obvious from the start that each space has been thoughtfully curated for vacation vibes and creating moments together. I appreciated that there were 3 "grown-up" beds so none of us aging adults had to scramble into bunk beds. I will note because I missed it when reviewing the property listing: one of the beds/rooms is a loft leading to one of the two actual bedrooms.

The house was very nice and clean. We loved spending time there. It is even better than the pictures. Close to Mammoth Cave and about 1-2 h from other attractions, like the Corvette museum and distilleries. The Lake Nolin dam is worth a visit.

My son from Oregon was visiting so we planned an outing with his brother who lives in KY and his 3 sons(my grandsons). This cabin provided plenty of space for all. I was especially pleased the cabin was clean comfortable, and adequately supplied with all the kitchen implements one might need. We forgot to bring coffee k cups and were pleasantly surprised that some were there for our use. The cabin was in a quiet area and we felt very safe. It was a fun filled two days for our family.

Quite and peaceful get-away.

Beautiful cabin! We stayed here while exploring Mammoth Cave and other places nearby. All of the amenities in the cabin made me feel like I was at home, so I felt very comfortable and had everything I needed. (Keurig, warm/cozy quilts, plenty of towels) Not to mention, this is one of the cleanest cabins I’ve stayed in. I loved the big dining room overlooking the lake and the screened in porch right next to it. We will definitely be back!

Young kids loved the cabin and fire pit. Probably the cleanest place I’ve stayed in awhile. Hoping that it would’ve been closer to Mammoth Cave. Afterwards my daughter ( mother of 3 kids under age 8) thought the 50 min ride back to the cabin was a good opportunity for the kids to nap without forcing them to. So unintended consequences were for the better. All in all a truly memorable visit

This home is clean and spacious and has everything you need for a great stay. The location is perfect for exploring caves and other activities (we also did kayaking and e-biking). It was so nice to have such a beautiful place to come back to and enjoy the evenings. Thank you Harry for being such a great host!

My family and I really enjoyed staying at the Cabin at Cub Run. It is beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The location is convenient to Mammoth Cave, river kayaking and a few restaurants. We were disappointed that you can barely see the lake as there are so many trees behind the house. Overall, it was great and we would definitely stay there again.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cabin! This was our first VRBO experience and everything went smoothly and exceeded our expectations. Harry provided everything that we needed. We really enjoyed the sunporch, that was our favorite room. It was so pretty seeing the lake through the trees in the morning. We would recommend this property to a future traveler!

Log cabin home is absolutely beautiful. Lots of space and everything you need. We loved our stay and would definitely come back. Easy check in and out. Harry is great and responds quickly. Not far from Mammoth caves. Rented Kayaks at the local Marina down the road I suggest reserving ahead of time. Great Family vacation.

Easy process. Our only complaint was all of the beds were extremely firm, like sleeping on a piece of plywood.

This beautiful cabin at the edge of Lake Nolin is surrounded by trees with the lake shimmering like diamonds through the leaves. The cabin is absolutely pristine and well stocked allowing you to enjoy your vacation with the comforts of home. There were plenty of pillows. blankets, towels, and cookware so there is no need to bring your own. We enjoyed grilling out on the gas grill and there is also a charcoal grill if needed. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had and had a binder at the cabin full of information about the cabin, local restaurants, and things to do in the area. Our grandchildren loved the loft, games, and had plenty of space to play. My husband's favorite spot was the screened in back porch. We enjoyed time by the campfire at night. This cabin is close to many attractions. We went to Mammoth Cave, enjoyed a beach day at Nolin Lake State Park, went to Kentucky Down Under Zoo, and went kayaking on Nolin Lake by launching at Wax Marina. Our family had such a great time. This really is a "Family Dream Cabin" and we can't wait to stay again!

We came to visit Mammoth Cave National Park. This cabin is a short and beautiful drive when the Greene river ferry is open. We loved the secluded location surrounded by trees! The cabin is gorgeous and had every amenity we could need. This cabin was the perfect size for our family of 4 and would easily accommodate more. We spent one entire day just enjoying our time at the cabin. We played games, cooked, roasted s’mores, chased fireflies. The owner is kind enough to provide firewood. This is a very well cared for family cabin filled with beautiful decor and comfortable amenities. We give it 5 stars!
