Comfortable furnishings and nice decor. Everything was so well labeled and organized. We appreciated toiletries and basic supplies being provided. Pack n play and high chair came in handy with our little one.

It was the perfect location to be steps away from the beach. Check in and communication with property manager was smooth and easy. Cozy place. Had everything we needed. Having two parking spots was a huge bonus.

This was by far one of the best VRBO homes we stayed at.
From location to get places, to the board walk, and easy access to go eat at great places.
Also all the little amenities that you provided in your home, to all the beach toys, chairs, and umbrellas.
The garage was a very nice added bonus.
We rented surf boards, wet suits, and rollerblades.
Our last full day we did 6 miles on the rollerblades with the stroller in tow.
USS Midway was an incredible ship to go and visit could have spent a couple days there.
La Jolla being so close to take the kids to see the sea lions, they loved it!

The weather wasn't the best, but the Dollhouse was perfect and kept us warm and dry. Cozy, cute apartment with everything we needed for a quick San Diego family getaway. So nice to have a washer and dryer after time at the beach with kids! Close to everything, and the extra parking spot was a huge help. Communication was so seamless I had no reason to reach out for anything, but definitely felt that I could have at any time. Thank you!

Greatly enjoyed our beach house near Mission Beach. We spent lots of time 100 meters away at the beach and boardwalk. Didn't need a rental, we used Uber the whole week to lots of fun destinations, including Sea World, San Diego Zoo, La Jolla and Balboa Park. The property was very comfortable for our family of five and provided excellent kitchen activity. Would definitely use again.

Our family had a great time at the Dollhouse. The location is perfect - 30 second walk to the beach is key with a 2 year old :) The apartment had everything you'd need + parking was a huge plus!

Just one block from the beach!! Nancy has organized and outfitted this place with everything you will need to cook, relax and enjoy the beach. All kitchen appliances and utensils are high quality, too! Even the towels are perfect. Beds are comfy. Beach decor compliments the cottage. Plenty of beach chairs and toys. Easy communication between us, Nancy, the owner, and Kimberly, the property manager. They checked to see if we had everything we needed! Seems silly to mention, but, the cottage has toilet paper, paper towels, ziplocks, spices, coffee filters, etc. And, finally, BIG BONUS-there’s garage parking AND an extra parking spot large enough for a big SUV. We will definitely come back here again!

We are a family of 4, and this was our first trip to San Diego. The place was fantastic! The location really made our trip, being so close to the beach, we couldn't have picked a better location. The owner and property manager were great with all of our needs, and the welcome package of information was so appreciated! The place was equipped with everything we needed for beach days, and it was nice having Belmont Park and the new playground just a short walk down the boardwalk! We couldn't have asked for a better location! We are hoping to visit again!

We (our 2 and 7 year old children, my wife and and myself) stayed in the Dollhouse in August. The apartment is perfectly equipped with everything a family with young children needs (especially the washing machine and dryer are very helpful). We went to the beach every day and to Belmont park multiple times, so being able to reach these spots within minutes (Pacific Ocean < 1 minute, Mission Bay 3 minutes, Belmont park 5 minutes) saved us some precious vacation time. Nancy is a wonderful hostess. When we had questions, she reacted within minutes, and she even made an olive oil cake for us! We will never forget our vacation in the Dollhouse, and are already thinking about coming back in the future.

It was great to be just one street from the beach and close to restaurants. The property manager was helpful and we were allowed to get in a bit early. The only drawback was that it was the hottest week of the year and the unit has no AC. Not their fault but even with fans it was pretty uncomfortable during our time. I should have read the fine print better. I'm sure most of the year it would be just fine.

The apartment was comfortable, clean and well-stocked with essentials. It was a hot week and we appreciated the ceiling fans and window fans in every room. You really can’t beat the location (steps from the beach and a short walk to Belmont Park). I was able to fit our Mazda CX-5 in the garage after several attempts to get it lined up right, so I wouldn’t try anything bigger. But the extra parking spot is super close and works for a larger car. It’s so helpful to have an extra parking spot by the beach! There is no direct ocean view from the apartment, but it’s more private than the other units - it’s upstairs over the garage so you don’t have people walking past all day. Would definitely rent this place again.

Two friends and I stayed here. There was absolutely enough room for us to be comfortable. You cannot beat the location. Not only would I recommend this place, but I genuinely hope I get to stay here again!

I had a special visit with my daughter, who is stationed on Coranado and it was the perfect mix of seeing San Diego and all it has to offer and relaxing in this great property! I hope to be back soon and I definitely hope to stay at the Dollhouse again!

We loved this spot! You are just steps away from the beach, but tucked away from crowds and noise. Belmont Park and the Bonita Cove Playground are just short walks away, and our girls loved both. The property was clean and the perfect size for our small family.

The home was exactly as advertised. The location was great. The rental is on the smaller side but totally worked for us. The owner communicated in a very timely fashion and was very responsive. We didn't have any issues. Thanks for a great stay!

This is a great little property! Literally 30 seconds walk (at most) to beach. Quiet location but only a short walk to restaurants, Belmont Park, etc. Owner and property manager were fantastic! We will be back!

We enjoyed our SanDiego trip from start to finish. This property is perfectly located for walks on the beach with plenty of restaurants nearby. The dollhouse is charming and had everything we needed for our stay, including a garage to park In. The area is friendly, casual, and beautiful. We will definitely return.

This unit was exactly as described with full amenities to make our vacation effortless, very comfortable and convenient. We appreciate the cleanliness and attention to detail. All beds, pillows and couches were very comfortable. We also enjoyed the beach amenities to make beach days comfortable including beach towels, umbrellas and chairs. We cook during our vacation and this unit had all utensils needed. Thank you to Kimberly and her cleaning staff that did a great job preparing this unit for our family vacation.

We were excited to see the Dollhouse available when we were looking to go back to San Diego for Fall break. We had stayed there 2 years ago and loved it. The only sort of negative was having to share a washer/dryer with the big house so we were excited to see that the Dollhouse has its own set now! Made things easier. They do a great job keeping the whole place clean, and the kids loved the loft. And you can’t beat the location - steps from beach and a short walk to Belmont Park. Hope to be back in future years!

for a relaxing and fun beach vacation. The "dollhouse" was perfect for our family. The beds were comfortable, the living room gave a great place to gather and the kitchen included everything we needed. Having a washer/dryer was an added bonus. The boogie boards, chairs, balls, frisbees, etc allowed for lots of fun at the beach. Kimberly the property manager was prompt and responsive when we had questions. We hope to be back soon!

The location of the property is ideal for quick and easy access to Mission Beach. If you are looking for a beach getaway this is the place. There is a paved path that runs along the beach for walking, running, biking etc. We used it every day to get various places by foot.
We would definitely like to stay at this property again if we visit San Diego and are in need of a beach getaway.
