The shower was very nice. Hot water, good stream. The he bathroom seemed nice and clean. I had to wake the lady up to open the door, as the knob did not work in the morning- she was nice about that. Generally the landlady was pleasant and chatty.

It was like staying at a friend, who is not your friend and didn’t clean before you arrived. If I wouldn’t have had a terrible fever, I would have left again. I asked for water and the lady told me to use tap water, it would be fine in the uk. Then she left me to meet a friend. So I had to walk into town to get water, but the dog needed a walk anyway. I left my clothes on (although the bed-sheets seemed washed and clean) and used my own pillow. I found a mouldy marmalade-container beside the bed, obliviously months old. Dust and cobwebs everywhere. Many plants in the room, which made it feel stuffy. A weird experience overall.

I couldn't open the front door but the host assisted so wasn't a huge issue, just embarrassing. Had a fridge but that contained a carton of off milk. Soya milk was offered for the coffee. No set wardrobe or hanger for guest clothes. Hosts clothes and nick naks filling every drawer. Dusty locked cupboards.

Great location just five minutes driving from dover port. Great view. Aieleen is very friendly and helpful

Was lovely to stay there. The host was really helpful and good fun.
