This house is absolutely beautiful and the location couldn’t be any better! The inside of the house was very clean. When we arrived around 4:20 (check in at 4), the cleaning staff was leaving. She told us the towels were still in the dryer. We didn’t mind. However, later when we went to get towels out of the dryer to get showers, there were so many towels jammed into the dryer that they were all still damp. Still not that big of a deal, we just took some out and ran a couple cycles through and delayed our showers a bit. Although the inside was clean, on the outside It looked like maybe someone had a birthday party there before we arrived. There were a couple paper plates, plastic bags and a party noise maker scattered through the side yards around the house. There was tons of beach equipment and an over turned outdoor end table thrown haphazardly on the dunes in front of the house. There were rolled up socks and an over turned bucket of sand and sea shells on the back porch. None of the outdoor lights attached to the porch had bulbs in them except for one. The downstairs couch was broken in the middle and was being held up by a cinder block wrapped in a white garbage bag. The upstairs apartment sheets had a large area of orange/red spotted stains on them. We washed them again to see if it would come out but it didn’t. There were two door knobs broken. One was the downstairs bathroom, which we fixed. The other was the door that exited to the beach side. We did contact BeachHouseFL to let them know all of the issues while we were there. They were prompt and friendly in responding and asked if they could bring us clean sheets. We were checking out the next morning so told them not to worry about it. Karol asked for pictures of everything, which I sent. After that, no response to messages. Overall the place is beautiful but too pricey to have all these issues!

Bunch of us turning 50 this year and stayed for the week. Had a great time, the property is in a fantastic location, not too many people and short drive to Clearwater. Would definitely go back.

We absolutely loved the house although it needs some upkeep. BUT we would stay there again. We all had a wonderful time.

This property was hands down the worst place we have stayed at in all of our travels. I will simply run through all of the problems we had: the check in instructions said a key would be in the lockbox upon arrival. There was no key, and then we discovered that the property was just open. The place was dirty, especially the bathrooms and kitchen. The master bath had black mold all over the curtain. Tub was also black and wouldn’t keep water in it for bathing kids. The shower rod in one of the guest bathrooms was broken. The ice maker in the kitchen was broken - completely ripped apart. Fruit flies everywhere in the kitchen. Could not leave any food out on the counters. The kitchen table wobbled so much I thought it would fall apart. The legs need to be tightened. The place hardly any toilet paper or soap in any bathrooms. The hot water would run out in the house after the shower was run for less than five minutes. The doorknobs were all broken, including if one were to close the door to the master while in it, one would be locked in. We had to wrap and shirt around it to not get locked in accidentally by one of our kids. There were no beach towels - people renting this place are traveling to the beach and not thinking they need to bring beach towels (which are very cheap by the way, as are shower curtains, rods, soap, and toilet paper). We asked if there was pack and play ahead of time. No response. We brought one and paid to check it. There was one in the property when we arrived. Wasted money on checking our own. The propane tank for the grill was completely empty. The owner is completely unresponsive - they ignored voicemails and texts when we asked about the doorknobs, again when we asked if there was beach towels, so then we just gave up because it’s pointless to ask more to someone that doesn’t respond. The place could be fantastic but the owner needs to do a deep cleaning and basic maintenance items. The location is great. Walking distance to restaurants and right on the beach but the house itself needs work.

Temperatures were 88-91 each day with high humidity and AC units didn’t disappoint. Walk out the back door and steps to the sand and ability to set out your chairs right by the water. Very nice team that takes care of any issues.

When we finally corrected those I felt more comfortable about the commercial aspect. once I arrived at the property I was immediately impressed with it. The single downside was the HVACon the second floorin the main house, we didn't have use on the first night and there was some delay in addressing that, though it was resolved late the next day. there was a damage incident and I reported it to the owner, a bit of confusion there as I wanted to be compliant on all fronts and there is an owner an owner/agent interface to navigate. We still have not closed out so I am not sure how to entirely rate the rental experience,

But you can still see and feel a connection to its past days (in a good way). The kitchen was surprisingly well stocked for a rental – including good knives!! And since of most of us flew in, it was great to have beach chairs and lots of beach towels for us to use.Special highlights for our group include the chair filled patio – where morning coffee was sipped; the big back porch – where afternoon naps were taken; the large dining tables (inside and out) where delicious meals were shared and games were played; and the well-stocked kitchen that is always the center of everything!The only problem we had was the air conditioning in the upstairs unit in the back. It was not working properly and the room was quite musty. We did call about this, and someone did come out but it never quite got corrected. We just moved those folks into the big house and went on with our great weekend.

Just a few seconds walk and you are on the beach. The beach was beautiful, almost private with just a few other people around. The house had charm and personality you only find in older houses. It has all the amenities you will need, a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, washer/dryer,etc. Great location, you can walk to restaurants/bars, CVS, and convenience stores. The management team was very responsive, you contact them and they respond in minutes. There is a high possibility that we will be staying at this property again in the future.

The main house is just wonderful. It is an older home that has very appropriately maintained the character and charm of the original design, complemented by very nice modern updates. The main house has 3 bedrooms all upstairs. The master bedroom is huge with a very comfortable bed and large sitting area with couch and TV. One of the other guest rooms has a full bed and the other room has two twin beds. There is one bathroom upstairs (no ensuite for the master). The kitchen and dining area is really the centerpiece. It is beautiful and everything you could possibly need is available. There are also two sitting areas and a large TV. There is a full washer and dryer off the kitchen and another bathroom just off the front entrance. All of the linens, appliances, kitchenware, games, beach towels, etc. that you could possibly need are available. We spent most of our time on the back patio area. There is a nice 6 seat table and futon/lounge on the back porch, as well as multiple other patio chairs. The house overlooks sand dunes, which does obscure the view of the beach, but it's a very short walk to get to the beautiful sand. The house has other properties on both sides, but we never had any issue with privacy or noise. The bottom unit in the duplex is certainly the nicest of the two. The upstairs unit is very simple and slightly dated, but is fully self-sufficient. Both units have an open area with a bed, kitchenette and separate bathroom. Neither match the quality of the main house, but they were still very sufficient for our guests. The property was very clean and everything was in very good working order. I received very prompt and efficient service through . There are a few restaurants within walking distance, and everything else is within a short drive. The location worked perfectly f

The house is older and quaint but also has all the modern conveniences and plenty of room for our large family!
