Location was perfect, it was nice, quiet and serene.

Had a few hiccups with staff, miscommunications and such but after that, they took necessary steps to rectify the situation. It’s just no one wants to start a trip stressed out and upset.

It had all the amenities but was extremely shabby.

Location fine; room large. Kitchen had most necessary utensils (not all) and a large refrigerator. The stay *would* have gotten a 7 (and been much quieter) except for what I mention in 'what didn't you like'....Most of the staff seemed very nice and helpful as far as they were able to be, but again, see below!

In ascending order of importance: miserly doling out of soap and shampoo (ridiculously small and ridiculously small amounts.) No soap for kitchen at all. Pool was closed; fitness room closed after 7 PM. No staff onsite on weekday evenings, Sat, or Sun. Bed rather small for such a large room. Burnt-out lightbulbs in several fixtures *never* changed in my ten-day stay though I asked more than once. Worst of all, loud and rude people staying upstairs from me the last two nights who clomped around, screamed, and made hideous amounrs of noise until 3 AM both nights. I called the 'emergency' # for the hotel and got zero satisfaction. That downgraded the rating I gave and made me wonder about returning to this hotel. I had been assured by the gentleman who checked me in that it would be ok and 'not loud' if he put me in a downstairs room. Never again with that--the two nights I had my sleep destroyed were before the two most vital, busiest, most difficult business days of my trip.
