Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the location, pools,landscaping and courts. Upon arrival we were disappointed to find a number of deficiencies which required calls to our very helpful off-site rental manager. No owner's instruction manual was available for operating the TV'S and other equipment. The 1970's unit had not been recently updated. The very old and oversized deck furniture was sodden and took two days to dry after every rainfall. One of the deck chairs was broken and unsafe to use. Light bulbs in the entry hall and kitchen were burnt out. The sliding door screens unto the deck were damaged and kept falling off the rails. We had to ask for washing machine pods and when we couldn't find a bar of hand soap in the unit, a kind neighbour provided us one! There was a power outage on our last night which set off alarms at 1:00 am when power did return. It took several attempts to turn it off. We moved into a unit at Kihei Kai the following week and everything there was perfect and at half the price. We enjoyed an updated and well equipped unit with a rental manager actually on site. Plus an owner provided welcome binder, personal note, guide books, well-equipped pantry and a box of chocolates to top things off.

We come regularly to Maui and can say quite honestly that our stay was comparatively exceptional to other places we have experienced. Our accommodations were immaculately clean, the management team was great and the location is perfect. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you so much!

You really need a car to go shopping for groceries. Very small street market close by during week days. We didn't try the tennis court, they were painted.

We first stayed in 1992 - and have returned many times - it never disappoints!!We have always rented ground floor units but this time we stayed in a townhouse unit and we were very pleased with the experience. The unit was well furnished and beds very comfortable. Malea was wonderful to work with. Can't wait to return again!
