I like that you experience life living as Filipinos do. Close to some beaches, and away from main tourist area and its fairly quiet especially at night. The homestay has all the essentials you need to cook with, had a fridge and TV and everything you need to feel like it's your home away from home. The owner was very friendly and accommodating when we didn't have power or water, would allow us to go the the beach resort and he would pick us up and drop us there, he was very responsive and always available when things went wrong. He was a very nice and friendly person and even arrange us a tricycle driver for the time we were there.

Power outages everyday/night but that's not just at the homestay but in el nido . WiFi is not the greatest and water runs out every few days. There is now shower but I mean it's a homestay and i never knew before but that's the way it is and you get used to it. If you have never been here or not familiar with this area, it's about 30 minutes from the city/airport and island hopping tours.
