The rental was great! Perfect location - walkable to a beautiful beach, coffee, restaurants, and bars. The neighborhood was very quiet and felt safe. The house was immaculate. We stayed with my in laws and everyone enjoyed themselves. We would rent again - whether with family or friends. This is a great place!

This property was an absolutely amazing place to stay. It was clean, spacious and had all the amenities we needed. It was also a very short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. The property owner was very thorough with their instructions. I can't wait to visit again!

Our stay in West Seattle was comfortable and cozy. The home afforded us the ability to be near enough to our family without infringing upon their need for time and space apart. The kitchen had a well stocked cabinet with pots, pans, plates and spices. The beds were comfy with linens and towels provided. We would consider this again for future stays. The owner was very communicative and responded quickly to all texts. Street parking was available each time we returned from Seattle. The Alki Beach was readily accessible with quaint boutique shops and cafés.

Great stay! We loved being able to walk to the beach in July. Roomy and comfortable. The downstairs was a nice reprieve. The king bed was very comfortable. The back yard was functional, but maybe could use some updating. However, this does not take away from a five star review.

This was my first visit to Seattle and I was traveling with my 18 year old son and his friend. We decided on a house vs a hotel room for lots of reasons but I was nervous doing so. I was also a little hesitant staying outside the city. Well, this house and location won us over immediately! You are literally 1 block from the ocean. The views are breathtaking. The house was perfect. I stuck the teenagers downstairs and I enjoyed the upper part of the house. The restaurants that are within walking distance are delicious. If you have questions about the city, Wayne is extremely helpful but not overbearing in any way. My only cons had to do with transportation into Seattle. We didn't rent a car. It got expensive. There is a water taxi that is affordable if you pay attention to the schedule. This had nothing to do with the property and I would still absolutely stay here again! I just can't say enough about how beautiful the location is.

I stayed at Alki Beach House with my husband, our 3 kids and daughter-in-law. The setup was perfect for two couples and 2 single young adults. My husband and I enjoyed the welcome retreat of the basement bedroom. The location was amazing and we spent many hours along Alki Beach. We were visiting my brother, sister-in-law, and two toddler nephews. The back patio was great for dinners with such a large party. The lilac and wisteria were in bloom and the flowers and fragrance were heavenly! The boys enjoyed exploring the fenced in yard. The house itself isn't exactly 'kid-proofed' (and we didn't expect it to be) and the multiple levels may be challenging for some but there was still a pack and play for us to use for afternoon naps and we really appreciated it! Wayne was very welcoming and greeted us at check-in and went through the features of the house which was very helpful. I would highly recommend this home for a relaxing stay in a beautiful location.

Wayne greeted us and we went through everything which was great. Comfortable beds, clean and comfortable furniture. We ate out so no cooking for us but kitchen was well stocked. Bathroom floor upstairs is heated and so nice for AM wakeup. Thanks for sharing your house with us.

Overall great place. Check in was a little challenging as there were no details given regarding check in but Wayne was very responsive and check in worked out. The sofa was malodorous but apparently a child had thrown up on the sofa and Wayne had not know about it. Otherwise the place was clean. The grill and patio were very nice. Wayne did come by several times to water the indoor plants while we were gone but he did let us know he was coming. The location was excellent close to downtown but quite. One block from water with beautiful views. Price was very reasonable.

Very calming and peaceful place. Was great for returning “home” after daily adventures and unwinding. Very clean and extremely well maintained. Wayne was a helpful and engaging host who was fantastic about communication. Would definitely stay here again!

The location was perfect because it was quiet yet close to downtown seattle. The beach water wasn’t very clean so not a good location to swim. The house was comfortable, and our host was very accommodating.

Easy stay. Comfortable. Wayne was a solid resource for the property and navigating the local area. The house was good for the younger and older couples in the family. Great location for walkers, runners, or biking.. Check in and out was a cinch. Wayne met us at check in to walk us through the property and to make sure we were set up for our stay. At checkout he was very accommodating and helpful with the extra groceries we had to leave behind. He answered all of our questions and worked with us on any request we had during our stay. I would recommend the property, as we enjoyed it as had a good experience.

We were coming to the area for a family wedding. This location was perfect for our purposes. It is close to the beach, restaurants and, for us, the venue where the wedding was to take place.

Overall the place was clean and location was down the street from Beach and eatery's.
Owner charged for extra person when it clearly says 6-8 people, and sleeps 10. We had 7 adults and 1 teenager.
Also too much texting on the rules, making sure they are followed. Not enough privacy.
No shoes in house policy is ok as long as you don't have issues like me, I'm unable to walk around without my inserts.

The description of this house matched exactly what we stayed in for 8 amazing days. The owner of this VRBO is wonderful. He greeted us on the day we arrived to show us around the property and checked in throughout our visit to make sure everything was going well. He also has great recommendations for things to do in Seattle. The house is 1/2 a block from the main strip, which made easy access to restaurants, the local Starbucks, the beach and some delicious ice cream. The only downside to the property is the closeness to the beach on a warm Seattle weekend. We were there on the first nice 80 degree weekend of the summer when everyone was flocking to the beach. The cars driving up and down the road blasted their music, lots of foot traffic and lots of people looking for parking. (The VRBO owner did save our parking spot on the road for our rental car, which was very nice.) The plus side is once we closed the windows, we didn't hear much because the house is well insulated. This vacation was spot on and we made lots of memories. Thank you!

Wonderful location. 1 block from great restaurants and Alki Beach. Comfortable beds and very clean overall. Nice patio to relax outside. Kitchen is fine but a little lacking in cupboard space. Fun place to stay. Owner is helpful and respectful of your privacy. Recommend for a fun family stay.

The beautiful yard is a great place for morning coffee and an evening of relaxing. Wayne is an unbelievable host! Excellent communication and he knows the area so well and gave us so many recommendations for great restaurants and sites around Seattle and beyond for day trips for hiking or nature excursions. When my son wasn’t feeling well, he went above and beyond to help with the situation and make sure that we got the most out of our vacation. Definitely hope to be back there someday soon!

The photos really don't do this property justice, it's a beautiful place to stay set in a picturesque location. I have loved every minute of being here. The ocean is one minute down the road, there's plenty of restaurants about, the grocery store is only 25 mons away and delivers. Wayne has been fantastic throughout from the way welcome on day one right through to offering to pick things up from the store and all round ensuring the stay was as amazing as possible. He even game me the heads up when there were orcas passing through which was a once in a lifetime sight to see. Alki is such a beautiful place and this property is perfect. Highly recommend!

This was a perfect place for our family of 5 to stay while we spent five days exploring Seattle. The Alki neighborhood is charming, the beachfront relaxing, and the home is steps away from restaurants and coffee shops. Safeway is a mile away; a perfect place for us!

This was our 2nd time staying at this property in 3 years. Location is literally a block from Alki Beach. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. House is spacious and very clean, host very pleasant and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again!!!
