The owner, Ms Lu, is so friendly and fun! The hostel has an atmosphere I’ve never experienced before. It definitely feels like a home away from home where everyone just does their own thing, but if you want to socialise, everyone is super nice and friendly! Ms Lu always has random food like fruits and snacks that she always shares with guests 😂 My highlight was one of the evenings where I asked Ms Lu if she had a badminton set, because all the local kids were playing it on the street, and she went out of her way buy a brand new set for us to play with!! There’s also great local food nearby and overall a super peaceful and quiet neighbourhood! Can’t beat the price too.

It is a bit far from the hotspot places in Da Nang, but I guess that’s the point if you’re looking for peace and quiet.

The host was friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Basic amenities such as towels and toiletries were provided, which was appreciated.

Unfortunately, the room we were provided was not the one we had originally booked, despite confirmation. The alternative room offered was situated next to the communal kitchen, leading to noise disturbances from other guests. Additionally, the stated private bathroom turned out to be a shared facility used by all guests. The bedding provided did not meet our expectations, with plastic sheets and pillowcases being used instead of cotton, and no extra sheets available for added comfort.

It is like home. I instantly felt relaxed as soon as I arrived. I’ve very clean and has plenty of space to work, relax or chill. It is by far, the best hostel I have stayed in so far and I have been travelling for 3 months. Lu is such a beautiful, helpful kind soul, she goes above and beyond to help. It was like meeting an old friend, sister. I just love everything about this place and Lu 🥰

I usually don't write reviews but I would like to thank Lu’s Peaceful Homestay, the best place I ever stayed on my trip. I’ve met many interesting and charming people in this place, countless fun evenings talking with them, from all the countries, different ethnicities, and all ages. Diversities of people are all in one place, making each other comfortable. I always felt like I was staying at a close friend’s home. This is not a party house, but the best place to chat with other travelers in a very calm vibe. But you also have the freedom to do your own thing, the balance between that is very hard to get. Quite a few people(including myself) extended their stay. The place is sparkling clean and well-organized, and the bed is large and comfy! Nice local market nearby, the place is not in the center of the city but easy to access. I like to stay in a local neighborhood, a bit out of tourist attraction so it was perfect for me. There are various good reasons to recommend this place, but I think the most stand-out point is the atmosphere that Lu creates. She is a warm, helpful, and energetic person. I visited many beautiful places she recommended which is not in the guidebook. I appreciate all the effort she made to make my stay unforgettable. I cannot thank you enough, Lu. I wish you the best of luck and please stay healthy. I will definitely come back!

The environment is great, it’s like feeling at home. Lu is a fantastic host who works so much to make her guests feel happy. She also cooked for us for Chinese New Year. Guests are of all ages and coming from all over the world.

Some rooms are mouldy so if you suffer from asthma it’s not ideal. But if you are not bothered it’s a great place to go. 💙 the neighbourhood is far from the main beach but it’s lovely - I really liked it because it’s a reside area, very authentic!

First of all, Madam Lu was the most wonderful host ever. It's my first solo trip in my life and I was nervous. I travelled a 22 hours train ride from Ho Chin Minh to Da Nang, it was an okay ride but I was looking forward to arrive in Da Nang after that intense travel hours. From the train station, Lu's homestay was probably around 10 mins away by car, which was convenient. During my stay, Madam Lu took the initiative to guide me around Da nang, places to visit and very good food to eat. It was my first Christmas being away from my family and friends, but being here with Madam Lu and the rest of the guest during that time, it was one of my most memorable memory. I definitely had one of the best Christmas in my life. Madam Lu made so much of effort getting us local viet food from various vendor and we all had a wonderful dinner together at the homestay.
