We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this beach house and look forward to staying there again next year. The deck overlooking the lagoon is the best part. Nice & quiet location and close to all the shops & restaurants. We stay in GS every year and this has been our favorite house yet. Michael Burleson the owner was very accommodating. Love all the beach decor in the cottage and the storage unit was full of beach & fishing stuff. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

This was our second stay at this home. We love this house. Perfect location. Quiet and peaceful yet close to everything. Walking distance to the beach. Has everything you need for a perfect vacation!

Great stay on the lagoon. Kids had Nonstop fun fishing and kayaking. We love being able to walk everywhere: the beach, beach house, Pier 33, Hangout, etc.

Great stay, other than the rain, but plenty of covered spaces around property to still do outside activities! My boys loved the kayaking and fishing. My girls loved the breezes on the pier as they read! Close to the beach. Nice stay!

This little house was perfect for our family. It was a short drive to all of the attractions and restaurants we wanted to go to, but just enough out of the way to enjoy the peace and quiet outside on our own private dock. The beach was within walking distance, and the host provided everything we needed to go there! We will definitely stay here again the next time we go to Gulf Shores!

We had an amazing time in Gulf Shores. The property was perfect for our family of five. The fishing off the pier was great, the walk to the beach was short, and the cottage was so cute! We would definitely visit again.

Wonderful experience staying here....Everything you needed for a great family vacation

The house was perfect. It was a short walk to the beautiful beach. Short drive to all the restaurants, and you can fish all night if you want. It was very clean upon arrival! We had a little problem with the AC and the owner had it fixed the very next day! Will definitely stay here again!

The property location was great. We loved having our own back yard and swim area. Very nice for kayaking, fishing and relaxing in the water as the water only came just below our waist. This was great for our grandbaby. The beach was within walking distance so no parking was needed to be found. We ate all our meals on the deck watching the beautiful view. The deck is in need of repairs with several nails protruding and one board no long had nails attached at one end causing a bit of a trip hazard. The deck rail does not meet code for babies/toddlers as the spindles were far enough apart that she could fit right between the spindles. Other than that, the place was just what we needed to enjoy the beach as well as some relaxation.

My boys enjoyed fishing off the deck early in the morning into late in the evenings! We enjoyed the kayaks and grilling out! I loved that we really didn’t have to go anywhere if we didn’t want to because everything’s was right there for us to enjoy! The beach was just a short walk over and it was close enough to restaurants and fun but far enough from the noise. Very relaxing vacation which is exactly what we were looking for this year! We will be referring our family and friends and we will be back!

The property was exactly as represented, everything we needed (linens, dishes, etc) was included, check in and check out was easy and it was a fair price. The house was very nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable. It was nice to have a washer/dryer available. The outside storage room had lots of sports and fishing equipment. We especially enjoyed the dock. It was very nice to sit out in the chairs at sunset. We did quite a bit of fishing and caught sting rays, crab, catfish and a few fish we could not identify. We would definitely go back again to this property.

We had a great stay at this property. The location is great for easy access to the beach, convenience stores and local restaurants. We enjoyed morning coffee and meals on the back deck with a view of the lagoon while watching a variety of birds. The dock is convenient and we were hoping to use the kayaks but the high wind conditions during our visit kept us from doing so. Great location for fishing.

The home is just perfect. Quaint and very Beachy with everything we could have needed. Close to the beach and stores/ice cream but so quiet out back and on the dock. We came from Illinois for a high school baseball tournament and pick the perfect spot. Everyone loved fishing off the dock and the point. Michael was great and everything was easy. We really loved the vibe in Gulf Shores. We will be back!

My parents, husband, 4 children and I stayed here for spring break. The home was just as beautiful as the pictures. We loved being right on the water. Our favorite activities were fishing, Kayaking, crabbing, playing games, swimming, admiring the wildlife from the back porch and deck. My son caught his first stingray! We all enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back! The beach was only minutes away which was perfect for us. We like to be away from all the busyness and this home provided that for us. Communication was so easy. All my questions were answered right away. Thank you for sharing your home!

Great property and spot. Close enough to the commercial stuff if you want but far away enough that you don’t know it’s there

The inside of the house was clean, and comfortable. The master bed was very comfortable, and the bathrooms were updated and nice. However, most of the windows did not have screens, and if they did, they had a lot of holes in them. We loved the location on the lagoon, which was peaceful and quiet. The lower decking and dock looked fairly new, and we spent every evening watching the sunset. Kayaks, crab traps and fishing gear were available at the house. It's a short walk to the ocean, a restaurant, and a small grocery store. The reason we are giving this house four stars is the concern with the steps and deck. There were raised nails on the steps to the front door. On looking closer, we saw several nails and screws poking out of the old weathered wood. The main deck in the back of the house was a major concern. We always wore shoes so not to get splinters and cut our feet on the raised nails and screws.. Other than that concern, we had a lovely time in this house.

Perfection! Great communication, house was extremely clean and well stocked, and the location was perfect. My family enjoyed all the outdoor areas of the home. My daughter loved reading on the front porch and my husband and son loved fishing in the lagoon off the dock. The kids loved kayaking as well! The beds were comfortable and we never ran out of hot water for showers. The house was a short walk from the beach and minutes from food and fun by car. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home. We will be back!
