From the ad I was unaware that this was a room in a house that was a shared residence. I also was not aware that the bathroom was shared. While the room was acceptable, there wasn't a reading chair except for a desk chair. The blinds did not completely block out the light because many were broken. Mike wasn't present and his roommates did not offer any information. I had to ask several questions about kitchen use, storage, etc. I wound up using my iphone hotspot as I never did learn the passcode. While a towel was provided, no wash cloth or hand towel were. The house did not feel very clean. I would not stay here again. At minimum, an orientation sheet should be left in the room with wi fi info, details on kitchen use and bathroom usage information. I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express in Solana Beach the night before. It was recently renovated. I had a private room and bath. Breakfast was included. The price was the same. I did pay an extra 15.00 for parking. If one is going to be in the hospitality business, it would benefit everyone if more detail is provided in advertising as well as once the guest checks in so they know what to expect.
