The art and rooms were perfect!

Personal service from Elsa, the owner of the property. She went out of her way to make our stay memorable. The property is unique and a small "oasis" of colour and peace in town. The garden is a haven and offers various cosy hideaways to enjoy morning coffee or a sundowner next to the pool.

The guesthouse is run down, and the outdoor areas are dirty. If you are allergic to cats this is not the place for you as there is cat hair everywhere. When we arrived Elsa was unaware that we had booked three and not two rooms, although all three had been booked online, confirmed via message and fully paid for. We were told that we were lucky that she still had space for us. On our first morning there was no hot water for showering. We waited for the scones etc that were promised on Booking.com, but they never arrived. Elsa and Timothy were both uncontactable, and therefore unable to assist with these issues. When we did hear from Elsa we were told that the breakfast scones, muffins, jam etc had been discontinued over a year ago, although this was still featured online.

The location, the uniqueness, we were welcomed quite friendly by the host. I guess we got what we paid for in a budget room, all In all comfortable. For a short break away

The towels were not fresh and the room was not well maintained. No soap in a soap dispenser towel rail loose and soap dish in the shower loose. No space to pack away clothes you basically live out your suitcase. Bed comfortable but small so would not suggest it for a couple.

The room was clean, every detail well thought through, comfortable and very beautiful. The whole property was peaceful and quiet, and we didn’t want for anything during our stay. The hostess is lovely and the staff friendly.

The only aspect of our room that wasn’t great is the fact that the bathroom didn’t have a door and was joined directly to the bedroom. Other than that, it was great.
