We only stayed one night while passing through on a longer trip. There were several other places to stay but this was an excellent choice. Beautiful, clean, comfortable. Easy check-in. Great value.

Just what this area needed!!! We have stopped in the area before because it’s the perfect place for our NY to GA trip. It has a Cracker Barrel, gas and an assortment of hotels. Last year we stayed at the closest hotel to CB and it was the absolute worst experience we have ever experienced. This property is new so the room were all in good quality and well stocked. But what really set this property apart from others (not just in this area) was the desk service. She knew her job, did an excellent job and was very professional. I hope that this is the 1st of many more years of staying here.

We stayed at this property after a VT football game. Check in was a breeze. The room was very clean and comfortable. We did not eat breakfast there but it was available. We would stay there again.

This must be a brand new building. Everything about the place is great! And a very reasonable price.

Absolutely beautiful hotel and hospitable staff. I took a star off for the lack of ample breakfast food. I'm sure the hotel was aware of the number of guests staying at the hotel due to the open house for VT. I noticed there were many parents with their teen (s) as I was there also with my son for the same event. However when we got downstairs to grab breakfast before heading out for a long day of learning about the university, I was disappointed to see there was hardly any food. I managed to get a cup of coffee and an apple. I was hoping to have a hot meal. There was a pancake machine that was extremely slow, and 1 sausage patty that was sitting in steam (that no one touched because it didn't look like appetizing) and a corner of eggs. I saw the staff, but no one was refilling the trays with fresh food. For that reason many guests walked away and left without eating breakfast.

Overall, our stay was good and a great and cheaper option if visiting VA Tech (10 minute drive to campus). Property is new and so everything was generally clean and in good shape (although the elevator had a very odd smell). I loved the shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. The only thing I would say is that the hot breakfast in the morning is a tad lackluster. Some more options for yogurt, some granola perhaps, and a few healthier options would have made this 5 stars instead of 4. There motto of "functional" rooms is accurate. Small, but clean and nice.

The website says it has a pool, but it doesn’t. One of the girls at the front desk was nasty when I asked it.

Everything was superb. Our only complaint pillows were not very comfortable because one was flat and the other a bit better but would have liked it a bit bigger a a little more fluffy. We’ll definitely be back!
